When Learning to crawl released I immediately bought it. The Farndon, Scott years were excellent but Chrissie put out a wonderful album with this one and a great way to honor fallen band members. Absolutely classic!

I moved on when 1/2 the band died, though I have to say, they sound as tight now as they did then, and very competent musicians to fill some really huge shoes. Based on all the comments below, and me liking this song in the past, I owe it to myself to get a copy Learning To Crawl...

I wouldn't be surprised if this song was all Robbie McIntosh's idea. Watch Robbie show off his mad skills at the end of the song. I'm so glad that Robbie was able to fill in for Jimmy Scott after his untimely death. The Pretenders didn't miss a beat with Robbie McIntosh taking over lead guitar duties for Jimmy Scott.

very true and in fact they got tighter and smoother. Robbie was and is a monster guitarist and yet it somehow has lost some rawness and some charm.

On it's own a very good album - but then when compared to the first two - it becomes good only. After Honey Man Scott was gone - never the same, not even close. She had MARR for one or two songs, that would have been great "WINDOWS OF THE WORLD" is a great example of former glory - but, for some reason MARR never stayed, and they trudged along with a very long career....

Robbie was smoother and more polished as was Malcolm Foster and their new keyboard player and yet they don't sound as good. Weird right. Sounds like Jimmy Page there at 3:18.
