You amaze me Mike. I don’t know how you get these rusty vehicles to go down the road, but you always do. When you removed the hose from the thermostat housing I couldn’t believe how rusted it was.

Hi Tony…..yes our Toyota has had a hard life. We bought it 20 years ago on eBay and the old girl is still going strong. I used to have a VW Combi but they just fall apart in these harsh conditions. Hope your car is going well? Mike

Yes...this van has often been described as 'The ugliest van I've ever seen' on account of the nose cone extension which makes it look really odd. However....the old girl is by far the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned...still going strong after 20 years in the Australian bus! Mike

@ what is the purpose of the nose extension? Storage? Aero?

@ it is just extra storage….we use it for table and chairs and firewood. Mike
