Absolutely perfect. Thank you for showing the process of generating the code. I was not familiar with that website and was a bit worried it'd make me jump through hoops and put in contact information. Not the case, a few seconds of waiting and an unlocked laptop. Wonderful. I just want to comment on this (I initially watched it in incognito mode) to say that your clear understanding of the tutorial is well spot-on!! I have a TravelMate P which got into a repair phase cuz of the dead SATA connector (luckily we have an NVMe slot), and somehow the repairman added a UEFI password!! I was also initially considering BIOSBug, but I didn't have quite the skill to do that.. until now the main reason I had to get this going is that I recently installed a Kubuntu on my flash drive, and it just defaulted to GRUB.. the only way to put this back to Windows Boot Manager is to manage it through UEFI settings, so I had to research on ways to reset the passowrd without opening the device thanks again, from a lovely customer!! ~ thebelovedmoon 🌙

Wish i saw that video 2 yrs ago i have an Acer Laptop now a bit slow (old i7 and 8 GB RAM) and an 1TB HDD (still working fine) but i lost the BIOS Password an Acer charged me 290 EUR (about 300 USD) for Password Reset :/ i had no real time to check yt (how without Laptop) and i only the "old" trick from PC getting the Battery out. great video!
