I just want to comment on this (I initially watched it in incognito mode) to say that your clear understanding of the tutorial is well spot-on!! I have a TravelMate P which got into a repair phase cuz of the dead SATA connector (luckily we have an NVMe slot), and somehow the repairman added a UEFI password!! I was also initially considering BIOSBug, but I didn't have quite the skill to do that.. until now the main reason I had to get this going is that I recently installed a Kubuntu on my flash drive, and it just defaulted to GRUB.. the only way to put this back to Windows Boot Manager is to manage it through UEFI settings, so I had to research on ways to reset the passowrd without opening the device thanks again, from a lovely customer!! ~ thebelovedmoon 🌙

Hi Mike - my old Acer Aspire v3 lock itself after 3 attempts ! it says after 3 times pushing enter: System will halt !! (press any key) . After that the screen is black. Appearently a different BIOS? it is serie V3-571G-53218G75MallMFG Date 2012/09/24 are here possibilities for to unlock this? i would like to build this oldie up for car diagnosing.. Thanks sofar !
