I bought one of these for my son's budget gaming PC. Very impressed with it's bang for its buck. Internal power supply too which is a must for me. Speakers are a bit week but as he uses a headset there a nice to have rather than a necessity. Great screen and great review!

Hi, Mike. What I got was a SAMSUNG 32" Odyssey G32A FHD 165Hz Gaming Monitor for $220 and I think it's pretty good. The high refresh screen made a huge difference to my eyes. No more blurry vision like I'd get with 60hz or 75hz monitors.

I've had a 34 inch ultrawide eagle 1440p 144htz ips monitor for about 2 years now. Marvelous, although it's not the brightest of panels. Excellent value though iiyama.

Nice looking monitor and proper sturdy stand👍 Bought an lg, basic model, and stand is so weak the air pressure from opening door wobbles it. Think thats ips too. Iiyama is a name i know from 80s 90s 🤔 One to consider when need a fresh unit. Great review Mike and Kath 🐈👍

bought 2 of the curved versions for the kids PC's a couple of years ago. had to buy a replacement after an 'accident' could only get the same model direct from Iyama's website, haven't any complaints, budget price but a known brand so some piece of mind in the unknown lottery of value gaming.

I love me a cheap (but good!) monitor. That is about the perfect size for 1080p. I also have to say that the USB hub is actually a great thing to have in a monitor! Saves a lot of desk clutter. I plug in my wireless keyboard and mouse dongles in it - works great! Question: Does the USB hub work when the monitor is on standby? I had one that didn’t… was a pain when the screen went into power save mode - it wouldn’t come out of standby because the mouse and keyboard activity didn’t register. Thanks for the review, Mike!

i have had 3 of these in the timespan of a month , had to return all 3 unfortunatly because of horrible backlight bleed and the last one had 8 dead pixels , mine was the other model tho with the hight adjustment , i went for an AOC one instead

I got lucky with my monitor, I ordered a Koorui 24E4 24" 165hz monitor from Amazon, it came next day minus the power supply, stand and DP cable, I rang Amazon to ask about the bits and maybe returning it, the very nice lady said I could keep it, she would refund me in full and to go and buy the bits I needed, I then went straight back on Amazon and bought a power supply, monitor stand and cable for just under £30, I was quite happy with that cos it's a cracking monitor :)

How do you tilt the screen back and forwards? Mine won't move and I don't like how its facing forward slightly.

it is quite stiff, but if you look closely you can see a hinge

@@mikesunboxing Okay thanks, I thought I was going nuts, all the videos on youtube were telling me there is a tilt, the manual was telling me there was a tilt, but it just wouldn't budge while the panel is on. I had to remove the monitor and use some tough elbow grease to move the hinge. Finally got it at the correct angle now. I think they must of made it too tight or it needs some WD40 or something. 😅

What do you think abour Monitor Samsung 24" Odyssey G3, LS24AG300NUXEN, va panel it cost 169 euro or should i stick with iiyama. Pls answer me this is my first monitor change ever. I am playing in livingroom so the light is sometimes a factor.

These iiyama monitors have been popping up on tech review channels the past year and offer really cheap and not so good monitors to quite good budget friendly models depending on the model you look at. Choice ultimately is a good thing and for a budget friendly gaming pc for the kids this monitor here is a vg choice by the look of it.
