yeah it is a high price tag, although it seems they are creeping up all over the place, the average £500 pc is now closer to £700 and getting worse

I know how excited youve been to get your hands on the UK version of this bad boy......you can see the joy in your eyes haha. No doubting its a quality product, it looks fantastic, the build quality appears to be sound and it has all of that RGB goodness if youre into all that sort of stuff. On my keyboard ( the Huntsman Elite one you reviewed) I found that dedicated media button invaluable, I rarely use the headset volume control anymore. Thanks for the review Mike and Kath, appreciated as always.

this is a great keyboard, for me i would have liked to have kept the keycaps from the GK50 elite, the clear caps look nice but it is a little too much light if you are not a touch typist

Agreed! it is a lot of money. I really struggle to get a keyboard that does everything i want with the feel and noise levels i want also, this sadly is the price i have to pay.

Is the usb wire seperate from the keyboard/has to be put in? Common fault is the usb port breaking. Had a GK70.. it broke. They look good for the first impression, but its really weak to not have a wire actually secured to the board.

the usb is captive so if it breaks it is solder time

mike, your reviews of products are awesome, mostly for Thermaltake products, your review of the Ceres TG 500 case, sold me over getting a Musetex case. I am looking at this keyboard and the Thermaltake Argent K5. My motherboard is the MSI S570S, I have 32" MSI display, I currently upgrade my gigabyte GT 630, to a XFX swft 105 6400 4gb for $75 from someone local. I plan to get in the future a MSI Radeon Gaming Trio 6800 or 6800 XT, as the max card I can get, with my Thermaltake GF1 750w ARGB full modular PSU. Currently I just have the stock fans that came with the Ceres 500. I want to stick to a theme build, like have all my fans and other cooling from Thermaltake. I not sure to keep the Thermaltake theme outside the case, with keyboard, headphone stand, etc. I do like the feature of the Razor Chorma Addressable Hub. (Have you done a Review on that?). I am leaning more towards the Thermaltake K5, to keep the Thermaltake theme over a MSI theme. Plus with going with TT fans, and get LCD for the case (just wish the screen was larger, then the $100 US would be reasonable). Then be just using the TT software and Razor Chroma software. thanks

the GK71 sonic is the keyboard i use the most, i like the softer touch but with the mechanical feel, but if you like something a bit more clicky the gk50 elite is noisy and clicky

Nice KB, non of these pre assembled KB's come with a heavy mechanical switch though, blue (55g)is about as heavy as they come in these KB's, I'll be building my own KB from scratch next time I think. Thanks for the review Mike 👍

I like the lighter switches if possible personally but that is the beauty of the wide range of keyboards on the market , something for everyone
