Ann Douglas refused to hear what Stephanie had to say. Forresters left the apartment. But is Ann sure of her late husband not being guilty for Stephanie's mistakes ?

a rare moment where Eric was truly THERE for Stephanie, his WIFE, his ULTIMATE true love.

"Don't look at him, he's dead, I'm here!" So powerful. I know soap operas tend to get a bad rep in the world of television, but Betty White elevates what could otherwise have been an ordinary storyline into something much greater.

Stephanie's mom deserves to be alone, he was a a big a monster as her father. Eric is a great husband for Stephie, he rocked in this scene. Betty White plays her role here very well in this scene. I thought for a second Ann was going to tell everyone a St Olaf story, that would have been real torture. :)

First time watching this through for the first time.. my mom and grandmother said this arc was really powerful but damn.. such great acting all around. Susan especially went off; you could feel Stephanie's pain all the way, and when Eric steps up it gets epic. Who knew Betty could play someone so awful.. she did it masterfully.

Stephanie's story, pre-Eric, is mine as well. I am the product of a mother who lived in her OWN reality, could NOT face the true consequences of her choices and, who was DETERMINED....not to allow my father making a fool of her, to dictate her subsequent choices. She....FAILED!! Met a man when I was 9 y.o.,(her supervisor), had her "planned" offspring with him and, IGNORED the fact that he severely beat his young son quite frequently and subsequently RAPED me repeatedly. Unlike Stephanie though, I could NOT confront my mother because, she was financially responsible for me until I was close to 1/2-a-century old. In addition to living with the scars of RAPE, I suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury because of my mother's naivete and carelessness, when I was an infant. Unlike Ann Douglas(eventually)though, my mother NEVER apologized for ANYTHING, and she didn't even know how to cope with Stage IV Stomach Cancer, when it hit her. She never fought, and all the prayers that were said by others, having faith in her recovery, she did NOT appreciate. All because SHE....had NO CONTROL over her condition.

No Stephanie was a rock Stephanie was loyalty dedicated devoted to her man and her children she had a lot of integrity and when she seen someone like Brooks no caliber she was not having it and I'm not mad at her I wish she was still on that show because it don't went down the toilet that show definitely needs a strong matriarch figure on there and it's not sea Hag Brooke
@johntziannis11344 жыл бұрын
@@lywnnjohnson6130 I agree, Susanne Flannery was an amazing actress and i miss her. The show isn't the same without her. Stephanie was all the things you said, but she was also unforgiving and judgemental. And though, she was a devoted mother and wife, she was cold and that's why Eric left her for Brooke.
