Mike, that glass head is actually worth some money depending on who made it. they were usually used as floor displays in stores way way back and up till about the 50's or so when plastic became hotter than 2 hound dog trash pandas in a dumpster. if its from the 70's which is what it looks like it worth around $75-$300 id roughly say. an antique shop can tell you more seeing it in person. definitely don't just toss it or sell it at the yard sales lol.
