A simple melt today to build up the Brass total 👍. Over 10kgs of scrap casings melted into the big boy bar today. It looked terrible but i gave it a bit of a shine and she came out a lot nicer than i expected . Either way sit back relax , enjoy the vid and have an awesome day.
Now Guys if you Feel like supporting the channel it wont cost you a cent as you can Simply just donate some of your time. By just by allowing the ads to play through this will help out a lot and that’s how I make a bit extra revenue and the good thing is more revenue means more giveaways and more treats for the dogs👊🏻😄. A better way to support the channel is play one of my playlists on your computer before you walk away from it and let it play through that really helps as well but don’t ever feel as though you need to watch the ads if you don’t want to simply skip them and move into the video it’s completely up to you and I understand if you don’t have the time to do so👌🏻😁👍🏻.

What was the white stuff that looked like spider webbing or cotton? I know it was coming from the smoke, but I've never seen anything like it! What do you do with the live rounds? Disarm them and melt later?

Hello, I have a suggestion for you: You might consider making a funnel 30-40 cm long and a little smaller than the diameter of the melting pot to add the melted material into the burning furnace. This will make it easier to add the material and prevent the metal from falling into the furnace. Greetings from Türkiye 🇹🇷🇦🇺

Even if you missed a loaded round or primer nothing would happen when placed in the furnace that would hurt you or anything. It would simply pop if just a primer and if an unfired round it will simply split the side of the brass casing with a simple pop. Not even close to the noise of a firecracker. Nothing to worry or be stressed about.

Another satisfying video. I have to say that as far as a favorite melt is concerned, I give equal billing to copper and brass as they both look great and contrast with each other nicely. It's also interesting how copper pours like fine wine while brass pours like pea soup.

There is a special polymer "hammer" you can get with a hollow interior that will fit most bullets, and you put the round inside it, then hit the hammer down opposite of the round-side, and will use gravity plus force to pull the round out and all the gunpowder. Even if it's a blank/dud round, it should pull it out. I /think/ you can reverse it to eject the primer too. It's called an "Impact Bullet Puller Hammer", if that's something you'd consider adding to your arsenal of tools. :) They're like $30 US - nothing crazy.

Yes Brass does look "ugly" when it's being poured, but it comes up beautiful when polished. That bar came out nice, plenty of "character", you'd have to take too much off it to make it look perfect, you'd need to set up your recovery system to save the dust, but I love it just the way it is
