I used to do scrapping. Man, I found so much cool stuff in trash bins . Old and brand new stuff. Found new display phones when AT&T was remodeling a store. One flip phone still was in service and remained that way for 6 months. 😅. New clothes from children's store , guess old stock ? Donated them to church, helping their members and neighbors . Found new stuff I would sell to flee market vendors . Etc. Older chromed water faucets that are actually Brass $ . Old PC's for CPU 🙂. I had fun 😁.

Grew up in Tallahassee, Florida and was introduced to dumpster diving when college students moved out/ graduated. OMG you would be shocked knowing what they do pitch that is of no use to them anymore. One student that lived in my apartment complex always had me check out problems with his car so when he moved out he gave me the key telling me they are scheduled out end of week and enjoy what I find. Haven't done any diving in a few years, not there anymore, but yes if you can handle it in a college town it is worth it at graduation and mid semester.

Me, personally, I would have kept a few of the blue cases, as long as there was nice foam inside. I worked for an oil and gas company, on the assembly side. There was one tool, that had sensitive equipment inside, and came in black cases such as the blue ones in your video. Found out, they just threw them away. I stockpiled probably 30 of them and gave them to friends, that could use them for tools, firearms, etc. Really nicest cases.

The thick cushion you trod on while you talked about the resmed parts, is a very dense, supportive foam. It’s particularly useful for people in wheelchairs to reduce the risk of bedsores, etc. Might be useful for some local charities- not for posting as they are quite heavy!
