This made me realise huge volume of work Mike does on SNL for acting alone.. like the impressions and characters that have a big impact.. he’s on top of his game and it’s easy to take it for granted as a viewer

At the 40 minute mark when Pete started saying "Have you not ever seen Keenan....." I was praying he was going to say "not laugh at every single sketch, funny or not?" Not as annoying as Horatio or Fallon but still.
@penelopesalmon89592 ай бұрын
I wish Pete didn't make it feel like he only had Mikey on to get Ryan Gosling on (especially ending it that way by actually saying the interview was a stepping stone was just yucky), because that's a icky Hollywood/bad friend thing to do when Mikey and he could so clearly be actual friends, but I hope it works out and they are because it was like literally watching a guy friend first date and very relatable and fun! Adore Mikey and he's so down to earth and normal for someone that literally steals the show in SNL every time he's in something.

Hey Pete - overall I’m a big fan of your comedy. I get it that podcasting is high volume and sometimes you swing and miss. Mocking the name of Mikey’s friend’s wife was tone deaf and awkward and lame. It doesn’t help that she’s objectively more famous than you, Mikey, and Taran. Tripling down when Mikey kept feeding you hints you were off base was tasteless. Again -- genuinely big fan and subscriber.

Yeah it was very weird. I thought maybe Katie would jump in to show him Cobie’s picture or something to stop him because I’m sure he’d recognize her face, but instead he just made an ass of himself continuing to act like she’s not a real person.
