Today we continue with our adventures at our Master Suite at the luxurious Sundowner's Vacation Villa in Balinao, Pangasinan, Philippines. Checking out the amazing interior design and landscape of the place got me thinking about the interior design and landscape of our future farm house, currently being built. #InteriorDesign #Landscape #Villa

Welcome to my daily vlogs! TRAVEL. FOOD. COMEDY. SINGING. ANTS. LIFE.
I upload a new video every day at 7AM EST!
About Me:
My bio is pretty random: In short, I am a professional singer/songwriter from Toronto, Canada who moved to Manila, Philippines which sorta became my Hollywood because my first KZbin channel MIKEYBUSTOSVIDEOS grew popular due to Filipino comedy videos. Meanwhile, I'm also a big biology geek who is obsessed with ants, so I built an internationally operating ant business supported by another popular channel called ANTSCANADA, and well basically, today I travel and tour around the world doing what I love so I wanted to start this vlogging channel, in hopes to encourage you guys to follow your dreams no matter how random, by showing you what happened when I followed mine! You just never know where life will take you when you listen to the yearnings of your heart!

In the US/Canada, most parents give their kids swimming lessons at a young age. Parents should do that. For me, it's one of the best gifts parents can give to their kids.

I know people who have beautiful landscaped properties and gardens who have chickens that free-roam around - they destroy or mess things up, they're actually really good for the plants because they fertilize and aerate and get lots of bugs! 😊 You might have to have certain goat-approved areas for Billy though haha. RJ was so cute trying to hide in the water when you said, "Show us your muscles" haha aww 🥰

My chickens are allowed to free range in the garden, and I was surprised by how little they were in the flowerbeds or at my "kitchen garden" (I just grow in pots and big planters since the soil is so sandy and hard to dig), they just bathe a little in one of the flowerbeds but it doesn't disturb the plants only a few flower-onions that happend to be uprooted. They have never been in the pots and planters what I have seen or noticed. In springtime they really helped with cleaning out a flower bed where everything dies down during winter (4 seasons here) they mostly looked for food so scraped arround a bit and it looked like we really had put some effort clearing all the dead stuff away and tidying up when I really just took the loose dead stuff away. Ofc they make sand baths and scrape for food but it's mostly arround trees and our roses, wich actually is really good so those plants don't have to compete with grass or weeds, and if I just throw some foods in a mossy area in the grass they shred up the moss so it's easy to just take up and throw away. Any fallen fruit is soon taken care of by them so less work for us. When I had them in a smaller area they completely destroyed it leaving nothing but soil (this can be a good idea for clearing out an area) and deep bathing holes that had to be filled. Also I noticed a huge improvement in the grass where they normally are, probably because they poop all the time.

the aesthetic of this place is amazing and i think it would look amazing inside of the mabuhay farm house, as long as you don't include the touristy aspects like of a lot of resorts. for example a lot of ocean themed stuff such as mermaids, shells, sailboats make a house seem too corny and look like a tourist destination. it will feel a lot more homey if you use things that mean a lot to you as decoration

That evil little giggle😈.... 😁😁😁😁 Also Mikey, I'm really impressed with ur ad placement. I don't really know how that all works but u seem to place more n ur vlogs than others I watch. That's really smart, but of course it is, ur Mikey. What I mean is, that I think many many tubers r too afraid of offending their viewers with ads but its so self defeating. When diehard subbers fall n love with a creator, we want to c them get paid as much as possible & many of us can't afford just giving money so those ads become the way we support or fav creators. If they only place 1 ad n, they r depriving loving subs from paying them. We all understand there is cost & labor of creating a good channel so I believe most don't begrudge the ads, the skip function makes it pretty painless. Plus I do get some kind of use out of about 15% youtube ads. Well, just thot u should know what a diehard viewer thinks about ads.

You should plant some Christmas palm in the mabuhay squad farm. It's native to the Philippines and we, here in Ilocos Sur, pickle the palm nut and eat it. We call it ' butsina ' by the way, and it's very DIElicious.

RJ is 100% right about bamboo. The town I live in passed a law u cant plant bamboo because it is destructive. Does the municipality's have recreational programs? That's where my boys learned to swim. All towns on Long Island,NY have swimming lessons at the beachs. That would be a great program for the Philippines.

Mikey, it's definitely relaxing and inspiring to be surrounded by nature and organic art pieces, but try not to use an excessive amount of virgin wood. Maybe incorporate the bamboo from the supply you had cleared from the landscape, as well as converting any other materials that were sacrificed to make the house. In that way, you'd have a house that is tied to the land you're developing.

Green bamboo will grow straight through pond liner and concrete. I really like black and clumping bamboo. Also btw. ANTS eat pond liner. Midge fly larva are doing the most damage in America right now. They are starting to lay their eggs in koi ponds and the larva chew thousands of holes quickly. You basically have to scrub them off before they hatch.
