Scotland you are so fortunate to have Kenny! If I could I'd move to my grandfather's homeland. Thank you Kenny for giving me a little o' Scotland.

Kenny has one of my all time favourite singing voices and is a lovely bloke too. I was lucky enough to spend some time with him in his dressing room a week or so ago in Nottingham drinking his rider and having a blether after the gig. Great human being and musical legend. ❤

I discovered King Creosote in the album Diamond Mine with Jon Hopkins. His voice is just beautiful. His lyrics awesome too, what a great artist.

Discovered KC today via the weird coincidence of being in a band called Warm Creosote. Outstandingly good stuff - an exceptional singer; utter emotional truth. Beautiful.

Just brilliant. Bats in the Attic is a fantastic song. Love the way the band listen to each other, and Kenny's voice is beautiful.

As quite a newbie to the joys of King Kenny I am so happy that I have introduced his music to pals from Wisconsin to Paisley. I recently sent a batch of his CDs to America as apparently they are rare as hen's teeth to buy there! My pal did a search and they were costing literally over a hundred dollars to buy!

King Creosote quickly became my favorite song writer/voice. It was almost instantaneous the first song I heard, which was Melin Wynt just three years ago. I can’t express how directly his voice reaches me, somehow he’s singing my heart, the tones and the gentle trill, its almost painful in its purity and nakedness. I haven’t felt this way about a voice since the first time I sat down and truly listened to George Jones many years ago. They couldn’t be more different, but also they couldn’t be more alike in the way their voices can break open a guarded heart like mine is.

I have only known of Kenny for a few months. I was offered a ticket to see him at Findhorn last Sat so thought I should get to know some music first. Immersed myself in I DES, Diamond Mines and From Scotland and whatever I could find on youtube. Wow. I can't believe how I got to the age of 63 living in NE Scotland and never knew of him. He is fantastic and I agree with what you say about his voice.

@@timmcdraw7568 please just do it. Hopefully you would really like to. You have a gift. (I began painting when I was pregnant with twins who are now 33 and that was after a nursing career etc. I just threw myself into it because I wanted to. Wow 🔆is how I still feel about it all 😁and I love to illustrate to music 🎶)

I hope you have discovered his phenomenal album DIAMOND MINE which he recorded with JON HOPKINS... Such a glorious album , P.J.HARVEY beat him/them to the Mercury Prize , but it must have been close.... BATS IN THE ATTIC is from that album.
