The Crochet Summer Mist Throw is a really nice idea for stash busting and making a really unique crochet blanket. This is designed by Kim Guzman for Caron Yarns many years ago.
It’s made of a repeating of 8 rows and once you understand this pattern, you can put the pattern away and just go with the flow.
Get the free pattern at thecrochetcrow... #crochet #learntocrochet #crochettutorial .
This video is closed-captioned for the deaf and hard-of-hearing communities. The captioning is also available in multiple languages such as Spanish, French, German, Italian and Portuguese. The written pattern is only available in English. . *** .

This blanket is so pretty! And I must Thank You for using acrylic yarns for all your projects. In this crazy time, I have been watching knitting and crocheting you tube channels that have been coming up in my recommendation and every one of them us "wool". I and some of my family are allergic to wool. I am so sick of everyone pushing wool for every project. Thank you again for your wonderful tutorials.

Linda Daley Here in Southern Ireland we grab ‘a ball of wool’ for every project no matter what the constitution of the ‘yarn’. It’s just how we ‘spake’. 😁🐢

Really nice pattern! I carry the different colors up the sides, then I do a border to hide the ends. I find that easier than hiding the tails which I hate doing. I only cut when the color changes don’t line up on the same side.

The patterns says Row 5, to skip the first stitch. You however say not to skip it. Which is correct?

Ur video popped up with news on Google. The design looks interesting, so thought I'd watch. With all due respect to you, a few questions & suggestions though. Why do u call a 'skein' of yarn a 'ball', when it's NOT a ball of yarn until u make it into a ball? Why do u only put your needle into ONE loop instead of TWO, as most crocheters have done for years? Putting it into the 2 loops at the top of each stitch make it a stronger stitch when completed, something like building a house or sewing, etc. When stretched it will keep its shape better & again much stronger when completed into a large piece like an afghan that is pulled and poked thru the yrs, if stitches are connected thru the 2 loops. I've only seen about 4-5 people in my life do that. What's with 'goin down the hill', then 'pickin up your friends'? I'm not saying anything is wrong saying that, just wondering if u originally did this to teach children & used it as a way of connecting to them. I can see where that would be helpful, or maybe ur trying to be make the video fun. U talk pretty fast, so it was a bit difficult at times to know when 1 sentence ended & the other started & hard to keep up. We can't rewind 10 seconds like Netflix & Hulu unfortunately, wish we could. After awhile of straining to keep up with fast talkers, I personally get a headache. You're a great crocheter, fast & accurate. Maybe for beginners & older ladies, like myself, u would consider slowing down a teeny tiny bit. We're not all millennials. If you're teaching beginners though, I suggest using proper crochet terminology; otherwise when then come across a written pattern or are in a class with others, etc, they won't have a clue what to do when the correct words are used. Wishing u good things in the crocheting YT community. Blessings, L :)
