I am feeling particularly pleased with myself 😇 I'm brand new to Tunisian knitting/crochet and have been looking for something to do other than a wonky rectangle 🤭 I have just finished my first pie slice after watching your tutorial and, quite frankly, nobody can tell me anything right now because I'm feeling far too fabulous 😌 It took me a hot minute to recognise the front V-bars but after about stitch 6, there they appeared like the fog just cleared! I could be celebrating too early, but that's never stopped me before. Thank you so much for your explanation and demonstration, I'm going to crack on with the next slice 🥰⚘👍🏽

Thank you so so much I've been trying to figure it out for two days. I always enjoy listening to you so calm you made every thing okay.I am making a hat called diamond delight out of a crochet world I inquired them about it and they have no one to help. So I learn more here on You Tube than the magazines.Thank You so much!

Thank you for making this so easy and fun to learn! I went into this all ready to prove myself right that I Would Not be able to do this because it looked too ambitious for my skill level, lol but it was so darn simple that I couldn't mess it up!

Love, love, LOVE this tutorial. You make it all so easy. I found the making of the second pie a bit confusing but slowed you down to about .50 where you sounded so drunk it was hilarious! However, I got there with your (slowed down) help 😆

Mike, do you have or know of a hat pattern which uses this circular technique on the top of the hat? I make baby hats for a hospital and I was thinking of making baby hats starting with these panels and working around to the bottom of the hat in tunisian knit stitches. I am fairly new to tunisian crochet and I'm looking for some guidance to making a smooth transition from the circular panel part to the straighter sides of a hat. Thank you. :)

You can make squares with rows of simple stitches and turn every other square 90 degrees to make an attractive afghan, but they won't be granny squares. There are many other Tunisian stitches that can be used to create your squares - even lace stitches. Experiment!
