Mikey on row 39 of the study of ombre I figured u needed 102 stitches on that row then do the sc ch 1 sc corner before doing the crisscross stitches. If u divide 102 by 3 u will get 34 crisscross stitches. Hope this helps.

I just started this week and have finished all 5 videos. I enjoyed your special stitch. I love how it looks. Have to admit it was a rocky start for me. I didn’t follow the directions properly at first and had to frog the 4 rows and start over. But in the end it looks great! I do love all the textures! Mikey, I did not like you too much in round 41 (Suspension Stitch) it was a little hard, but on round 43 I like you again. It is the first time I do this stitch. I just finished round 47, I really love how it looks and it was not that hard at all. you are a great teacher, thank you so much.

Tip for row 39: Place stitch markers in the spots for the 2nd dc all the way around the piece, this way when you do the 1st dc you are to the right of the 2nd stitch marker , then pull the 1st stitch marker forward to place the second dc(after the ch1). By removing this stitch marker you now go to the second stitch marker and continue. This should also help you maintain the stitch count.

I’ve definitely done this suspension stitch before (as you call it - I think that is a great name for it) - it was from a very old blanket pattern book. I made a blanket with this stitch - a few decades ago, lol- and it took me forever but I finally finished it. I always regretted the ugly yarn I used back then. So glad I am using prettier yarn here. 😂😂😂

Phew I'm so glad this week is done. I love the texture the scaffolding creates but what a tedious round🥴 I wanted to add though, when I turned the piece around I was a little blown away at how beautiful it is with all the various textures. It's like a work of art. All the extra work is worth it in the end to have such a special piece.

Mike, I have come up with a different stitch that I created (maybe) that works on the same row as your suspension stitch. It works in sets of 3 stitches just like your suspension stitch, but instead of putting in a backpost treble crochet around the leg of the criss cross stitch, I did a treble crochet over the whole criss cross stitch. Try that! I hope u like this idea! U share so many stitches with us so i thought I would share that with u! :)

I'm confused as to when to change to color C. On the instructions is says to change colors on round 38 but on the video it appears the color was changed on row 37 of the previous lesson.

We are part of a beta testing group with this new technology. There is a conflict in the audio track. Programmers have found the issue and are working to correct it. It’s happening on some iOS devices and they have to work a fix fir every model and brand. It’s not happening to all of them. Just a few and your brand is affected. I’m sorry this happened to you.

Oh no, I have a big mistake somewhere. On row 39 I have 33 cross stitches on two sides, 35 on another and 38 on the 4th row. Any suggestions to fix this???? Help

That's quite a big difference. I don't know if you can fix that without frogging it back out. That really is a huge difference. I'm sorry you are experiencing that.

I don't see where it says "front" and WS? But either way you are working all rounds until #49 on the wrong side. :)

I'm re-watching the video and noticed that as well, the pattern does say to go in front of the first DC on the wrong side, so you're looking at the wrong side and bringing your hook in front of the DC just made and inserting your hook into the skipped stitch, at least that's what it seems like to me
