Thank you! I was happy with not having an adventure these past few months, but I'm ready to hit the road again.

Love seeing the evolution of the horns as they get more and more orange from the paint rubbing off
@MikeyTWilliams4 жыл бұрын
Haha I didn’t even notice that.

Thank you for sharing all of your experience with what are obviously thoughtfully assembled videos. A labour of love I'm sure.

Those roads look like a torture test for your ortliebs and brooks saddle! Seems like it would shake every bolt loose on your gear. Thanks for another great video!

The racks did even worse than that! You'll find out what in a couple more videos haha

Some mint landscapes in this one dude! Shot riding round the hairpin is an absolute ripper.

I didn’t realize how nonchalant I was about the baby horses, but so stoked to see yet another baby cow haha

Thank you for letting us experience the beauty of these countries without having to experience the pain that comes with cycling!
@MikeyTWilliams4 жыл бұрын
Hahaha! Yeah no problem. The only pain you get is the pain of having to endure my constant complaining.

Definitely one of the best video series out there. Keep up the insanely good content !

Thanks so much dude! I’m really hoping the quality increases with each video. This new laptop hasn’t made me any faster, just more particular with how I want it all to look haha.

Thanks for the video! Such beautiful country.

Thanks for watching it! It was a pretty spectacular landscape.

Judging by your clothing it seems to have been pretty cold up that pass, but that lake looked ready for a swim to me regardless
@MikeyTWilliams4 жыл бұрын
Yeah super cold and very windy! Yet the sun is really hot at the same time. It's a really harsh environment. Really dry as well, so the whole experience just wreaks havoc on your skin, throat, etc.

Thanks, Mike. The views are gorgeous, there are plenty of Tajiks and Kyrgyzs in my country, it is a pity they have to leave beautiful place for work

Hopefully they can return when they're old. It really was beautiful.

Hi man, it's been a while since you uploaded these videos (and a while since i last saw them too), but they really help putting things in perspective traveling-wise, and I'll really need it when I'll visit the area in a few months. So thanks.

the mountains, rivers, lakes & valleys of Tajikistan look beautiful, but have to admit Kyrgyzstan looks pretty fucking spectacular too ! enjoying the videos, fair play, id pic a motorcycle!

Really enjoy these videos. Unexpected stream crossings are the worst!

Thank man! Yeah they’re not the best, especially at the end of a really long day. Don’t trust the off road routes with a loaded touring bike!

Ohmygosh you did get so skinny! I know you’re home, but I wanted to bring you a pot roast after seeing your arms! (Not that you would want it, that’s my midwestern grandmother in me 😅) Great cliffhanger 😱😢❤️
@MikeyTWilliams4 жыл бұрын
Oh my goodness I would’ve eaten the entire pot haha. I still would! My midwestern grandmothers would always try to fatten me up with their cooking. I’m happy to now be able to eat when/whatever I want. I’ll never take that for granted again :)

What's the elevation there? Is that why there are no trees?
@MikeyTWilliams4 жыл бұрын
This was I think 13,000? Yeah the dryness and altitude is why there is no vegetation. The people out here eat mostly rice, buckwheat, bread, milk, and meat. Not much produce to go around.

09:08 get yourself a fork with some suspensions next time. If you want speed on the parts with good road get yourself a blockable suspension.

I love how no one mentions you taking a huge fucking wipe out at the end there. You never mention it in your update when you got back home. Hope it wasnt to gnarly dude.
@MikeyTWilliams4 жыл бұрын
Right?? Makes me wonder how many people actually watch till the end haha. It really wasn't too bad on my end, but it messed up some stuff on my bike.
