Can’t wait to see them on the ice! They look like a cross of Vaughn and Bauer pads. I have a set of Eflex IIIs and CCM Premier. All my stuff is used because I don’t want to spend an arm and leg. Should be done with my time in Iraq in December (second trip here). My buddy said the Eflex 4s are basically the same with a different graphic.

Hey! They're amazing pads. The legs are similar to Vaughns while the gloves similar to CCMs, in my opinion. Pro level, slide like a dream, no stingers whatsoever. If you have bigger calves like I do, the calf padding is adjustable to allow for more clearance. VERY stiff.. so if you like a more flexible pad, make sure to tell them that going into it.

So ive recently got back into hockey and loving it, but im a stand up style goalie using older louisville tps pads, are there any modern day pads the are suited for a stand up style goalie?

Not especially, but I'd probably pick something like Vaughn VE8s.
