I just got a used set of old reebok premiers as im moving from blue to blue, going from D to G. i was shocked at the price of new pads, thousands just for the legs. Good on you and Bauer for helping those kids and their parent's wallets!

thats awesome of you to spread the joy of goaltending and helping kids. i remember my dad selling his truck to get me my first good set of pads. before that i was the hand me down kid, but didnt bother me, i just loved to play.

Hey Nick.. Maybe the next time you have the opportunity to give out new sets maybe start with giving it to the kids that REALLY need it like the struggling single parent then some kid who had already sitting there with new gear.. If you're not sure how to find them look for the kid with the 10yr old beat up stuff who shows up for the want to play then the new gear..

A bunch of rich hockey kids who already have nice newer gear giving them new equipment is redundant, should have gone into a poor area and given it to those in actual need. I play goalie and played junior C, I worked 2 jobs at 13 to get hockey equipment and picked a helmet out of the garbage, this was a missed opportunity.

Gave away pads to kids whose parents can already afford goalie camp and are already wearing brand new setups. Maybe find some lower income kids whom otherwise are kept out of the short because of the high cost. It's a nice video just a bit lazy.
