I mean there’s no real need to upgrade. She doesn’t play very graphic intensive games and given how bad the current gen of GPUs are (plus the stupid high prices in JP) it’s better to stick with what you’ve got if it works for you

Pretty sure RTX 2080Ti is already enough to run minecraft and many modern games at a good performance as long as her CPU is good enough, so there is no real reason to upgrade especially with how expensive new graphics card are, there is also the fact that the newest 40 series are chonky and miko would likely need to buy a new case for those.

I would also assume Miko will buy prebuild whenever she needs a new PC. But yes given she doesn't play at super high resolutions nor graphical intensive games it should still be fine to use it. It is just most other members I have noticed who had that generation of GPU has moved on but it is likely they also had lower tier than 80Ti, and they also had some issue with the PC and just bought a new one instead of the specific component that was the issue, lol.

Hm. I'm actually wondering what difficulty are they playing to warrant the aggressive mob spawning. Though for sure, Suisei probably maxed out the local difficulty in the general vicinity of her base for just spending her time building it-on top of what I assume is this server is played on Hard. I'm also wondering how much Light-Level-Zeroes Suisei left INSIDE her base, which is not entirely clear to discern even if Miko turned off her shaders. If you play at Maximum Brightness, you will notice that Light Level 0 is NOT complete darkness. Maybe if anyone can budge someone in their server(or Suisei herself) to use 2+ layers of snow to prevent mob spawning without having to light up the mountain. You'd have to individually place the second layer on though (unless they're playing on that one snapshot of snow layers going on top of other snow layers until they eventually form a full block.) but hey, nothing but a snow golem snow farm can fix eh?
