Please add a file= for save ramdisk to nand when we run reboot or shutdown - that way we can reload the storage. Option for sync should sync ramdisk to nand. This way we can have a perfect ramdisk !

@@giannisd961 every RAM storage is temporary, not exist after reboot. Of course it's possible to copy/sync your ramdisk to other storage but this is additional cost of doing, the best tools are always build-in out-of-box.

It's better to add an option to launch a script before reboot or shutdown, so the user can do everything he need to save the data.

@@Justin-od6cj We not have a zip feature or rsync in ros, that sync must he from external server, you realy want doing a script with tool fetsh for each file ? ros is not optimalized to do that type of sync thats why adding a pendrive as slow storage for save and load a ramdisk will be perfect. This is not a new idea, I have 64GB in my laptop and use ramdisk software to create a virtual lab with faster storage then nvme from ram and option to save that storage to file save me a ton of time re-creating or rsync many of files. That option will be perfect for thedude on ros or some conteiners.

You want a script to regularly copy the file to other storage (if you can accept a loss of some timeframe of data)
