When did you start collecting? And how do you keep your figures dusted?

Well I use a blow dryer on the cool setting, and all my figures are in glass cases. I could not imagine having the amount they have and not having them all in a case of some sort. That looks like hell to clean. And yea I wouldn't use cleaner just in case. It probably also has to do with what the figure itself is made of, so it might vary from figure to figure whether it would be safe to use of not.

Wonderful room tour! You collection is quite impressive. I was never into rubber straps since I only have so many places for key chains, but I really like how you have them displayed on cork boards. It definitely made me rethink their value as display items. Thank you for the idea, and the video!

thank you :) Yes, I made them. I bought small cork boards and decorative scrap book paper at the local craft store, then attached the paper to the board with glue to make it colorful.

I keep my bedroom living room , guest room, master bed free from figurines due to home decor aesthetic etc but my office/game room looks like yours but I have to share with my husband. I wish i can kick him out of my office and buy more figurines... running out of space. Love your room.

How do you hang up your posters without damaging them? I have sticky stuff but it bends the corners when I go to move them, it's minimal damage but I spend so much money on the art and I would love to have them in optimal condition for as long as possible..

Nice room tour! It actually gave me a couple ideas to maybe do for my room. I never thought about putting more figures in front of the space where I have my DVD section. I might try it since it gives me a bit more display room. Also, I see that most of your collection is out for display in the open and not encased in cabinets or shelves. What do you have to do when it comes time to clean all of that?! o.O It would seem like a heck of a lot of cleaning work! I have most of my collection in cabinets or glass displays to make it easier for cleaning and less accumulation of dust. I do have some of my collection out in the open however for variety, but I can't imagine what it must be like for you to have to worry about dusting/cleaning all of them >.

Thank you! :) I'm glad I could give you some ideas. It is better to have them in display cabinets. I have to clean them ever 2-3 weeks. It has worked fine for me, but it is definitely a lot more work. I'm hoping to get more cabinets when I move out to a new place.
