Instead this is more of a "players who don't care and don't take the game seriously" vs "legit roleplayers". I'm surprised that one of the video points isn't "the noob drives with kb/mouse" vs "the pro drives with a €1000 specialized gaming driving set with a custom truck shifter".

@@haruna4193 some recorders does have a Time-Shift option (like Action!), that you can set and quickly save the record by pressing one button. (I need to start using that, lol) It's true that some TMP players are driving like jerks - honking at you (because you're driving at the speed limits with much more realistic settings), driving all over the road, overtaking without even looking, speeding (that's really common), no blinkers, blasting their 20 long-beam lamps all the time (same with beacons), driving on the wrong side of the road, even they sometimes play like it's a GTA... Just simply too many arcade kids (as I used to say). I am not a saint, but man - after all it's a simulator, so at least I try to drive as safe and reasonable as I can, following the rules. Speeding 10kph over (instead 20-30) on a highway, when I have a clear shot is no biggie, but I give some space and reduce my speed when someone is overtaking me. Sometimes I smash 110kph too, but usually when I'm tired (sleepy) and I want to end the job ASAP (I quite often take a 2500+km jobs), but it's only a speeding when I can (on a highway), not all the time like many people do. When the weather kicks in (especially now during the holiday season it can be really bad), I slow to 5-15 below the limit (driving with heavy rain, fog at night, with that "snowy" space-jump or hyper speed acceleration effect that makes almost no visibility at all).

Very Nice Video, should be a Lesson Guide for new TruckersMP Players! :) Here some few Opinions from an retired Truck Driver after 25 Years Experience. 0:16 - A real Truck Driver would turn around at the next possible spot and would enter the Company Gate from the opposite Lane/Dirction, to keep the stress off the Tyres and Chassis when the Truck is fully loaded. Or, when he knows the Location, he would generally come from the opposite Lane/Direction. ;) Gaming Pro Tip: Set a Pennant at your Windshield and turn Cabin Accessiorie Physics on. If the Pennant reach the Edge of its moving Space and get stuck, then you are driving too fast around the turning. It also helps to reduce the tyre deterioration in the Game. 8:27 - A real Truck Driver would let the Engine running for 2 - 3 minutes after he reached the parking position, to cooldown the Engine and to make sure that the Turbo Charger have enough time to slow/cool down and getting colder oil. 10:05 - A real Truck Driver would check the Mirrors First, before changing the Lane, turn on the Indicator, checking again the Mirror and watching the Traffic behavior behind him when he change the Lane! And a Bonus Rule for the Game and the real Life: Patience is the key, stay calm, behave nice and respectful and expecting Mistakes by Others.

Wow!!! Thank you!!! You made me feel really good now!! I never realized that I am a ETS 2 pro-player, I always thought I was over careful about drive in the safest way possible, this include never overtake in turns, always drive 5 km/h below the speed limit, always going to the bottom right line, I even turn to the low beams when meet other cars in two-way lanes roads. You just forget to mention the horrific way the noobs change lines without turn on the blink light (is another thing I'm obsessed, never change lines or take to other road without sign properly) Good video... I liked a lot.

Really? I had always drive at speed limit maximum (80 limit - 80 speed) Is it really supposed to be like that (5 km/h below sl)?
@vit.budina3 жыл бұрын
@@scandited2763 I don't know how it is in other countries, but in central Europe, there's even a 3kmh tolerance, so if the limit is 50 and you are going 53, you don't get fined. But there are many other laws that most people don't mention, like when somebody is overtaking you, you should always turn off your high beams during their overtake, so that you don't blind them.

Noob is like Jeremy Clarkson. In those days, I believe speed and power will solve it all! But after playing for a long time, he finds it useless. If you drive proficiently in ETS2, you're probably good at math. Handling a trailer is a sophisticated task, like moving a snake in a tight space, and requires computational power. 1. Check left and right when entering an intersection or road. 2. Obey the speed limit (some roads have sharp turns and you must drive 10-20 km/h slower than the speed limit). 3. Turn slowly on curves. 4. Always remember that a trailer over 10 meters long is being pulled behind you. 5. It rotates wide in narrow places. 6. Drive with a calm mind and concentration. Following these guidelines will reduce accidents and significantly improve your driving habits. Thanks to this game, many players get their truck license or work as a driver in real life!

I have had this game for only a short time but have definitely improved my skills I have joined a VTC and been on my first convoy.
