Hi!! I'm a new Esty student. Are you able to show us the client consultation and skin analysis portions. How to determine the types of services / products you are going to use??
@LiaLeigh3 жыл бұрын
I'll try to think of the best way to film this. Great idea. A great tip. Ingredient knowledge and education is going to mold your career. If you know ingredients you'll know what products to use no matter if you've never seen the product before.

Esthetician here! We didn’t get to learn microdermabrasions in school unfortunately. So you cleanse and go straight into microderm without any product on skin?
@LiaLeigh3 жыл бұрын
everyones protocol is different depending on the resilience of the clients skin depends on the order in which I work. I switch in between Cleanse, Degrease, Microderm. and Cleanse, Enzyme, Degrease, Microderm. Absolutely no product on the skin and dry

Hello can you use an image degresser before you start a microdermabrasion?
@LiaLeigh3 жыл бұрын
I honestly dont care for it. I dont like the texture of the skin after using it.
@SweetPetiteLatrice3 жыл бұрын
Hey Lia boo, do you do your own microdermabrasion treatments? I have yet to try it myself, I continue to support my esthe bestie, just curious?

Whats your thoughts on the magnifying glass and steamers with dermabrasion and tools attached? Is it better to buy everything seperately or all in one?
@LiaLeigh3 жыл бұрын
I believe that is preference some I was looking at those in the beginning of my process but decided against it too many modalities I wasn't going to use
@ThatThang883 жыл бұрын
As far as the mask which do yo prefer? Esthemax or Casmara?
@LiaLeigh3 жыл бұрын
Camara but it is pricey to open an account with them. $800 or $1800 for the opening order and $300min every order after
@EmeraldsHoneyComb3 жыл бұрын
So it is ok to use niacinamide and glycolic acid together? I was told they cancel eachother out because of the different ph levels
@LiaLeigh3 жыл бұрын
depending on what the products are ex; cleanser, toner, moisturizer etc depends on if it could be a go or not.

Recent graduate.. might sound silly, but how many face towels do you usually set aside for a facial
@LiaLeigh3 жыл бұрын
not a silly question at all. Girl I'm stingy with my towels and only because I consider how often I'll have to do laundry lol. I use 2-3 towels depends on the day lol

@titlepending13023 жыл бұрын
She goes around the eye; the mask is liquid but thick so she can manipulate it to not cover the eyes

I have plenty of treatment videos where I do not cover the eyes nor mouth.

I think an intro would be nice.. I would do it within like 10-15 secs in… like a quick introduction to what you’re doing, the intro and immediately start with that first product like you did at the 30 sec mark and continue talking
