That down stroke is just electrified. It feels like I got my hand in a light socket every time he hits it. I have heard some good down strokes like this before, but this one takes the cake. I cannot wait to play to this. You could really do some funny licks on this track.

I know this is a two year old comment, but I just needed to ask, though I am sure it's obvious, you are referring to the main "groove" on the 3 I assume, correct?

@@brandoncooke6564 No. On the 2. That chord he plays he holds extra long and that makes that groove so deep. But he also electrifiies that chord with some energy sent to his left hand a little bit. Plus that snare drum is like one of those late relaxed snare. It sounds so good. Not late like out of time, but not a quick uptight snare. Sebastian has just got the groove and he has made so many great tracks. He is my favorite background track maker. Check out Soul Blues in Cm. You can throw up blind-folded 3-pointers from half court, and they go in every time. Nothing but net. You can't lose on that song. Serious. The guitar is made for Cm. It is right in the middle of the neck and the string helps you bend in tune, unlike Am pentatonic, which can be a hard road to ho when you are down in the normal 1st position of the pentatonic scale, like on the 5th fret in Am, and on the 8th fret in Cm. I love playing in Cm, and I love that backing track he made. It is perfect.

That down stroke strum... it has a whiplash to it at the front of it. And then it goes so far down on the down beat of it, ... I don't know that I have ever that before. It is the whiplash though that is giving it all the glory. He extends the time on the downstroke on 1 as long as possible, right after that pre-stroke whiplash, and the combination of those 2 things takes it so far down into the groove, I started talking like a young black woman. "oh no you ditn't".
