hey! So I'm a near-college graduate and I just want you to know: YOU GOT THIS! It's scary at first because it's our first time for a lot of things but you're gonna get through it a lot better than you think. Dorms was one of my favorite parts of making friends in my first year, while still getting the independence I dreamed of for so long. Decorating when and how I wanted to, eating or drinking in my bed (with minimal spillage too), and honestly your room feels more comfortable once classes started and you get a beat going. Make it homey, make it yours! Don't leave it blank. That really, really helped me (and got me a lot of compliments from people who said my room felt like a home). I believe in you stranger. You're gonna do great.
