You got that right. It was only 2 lanes each direction, when I moved to Chattanooga in 1984, and we were losing at least 1 trucker a week up on Monteagle, before they widened it and put in the runaway ramps.

😂😂😂 I am from Ringgold, and there absolutely nothing beautiful about a interstate driving through a ridge. Ringgold is a trashy interstate exit full of meth and opioid addicts. Low income, loser town.

The new 50 mph limit through the interchange is ridiculous. TDOT added an extra lane, new pavement, gentler curve....and reduced the speed. Dumb, dumb, dumb

The curve is still very sharp though but I still think the speed limit should be raised. Also I hate how the ramp to I-24 West From I-75 North because the lane merges on the bridge. When TDOT designed I-24 in Chattanooga I feel like they were thinking "what is the worst possible way I can design this?" TDOT can do better, but doesn't

When you get to the East Ridge, TN. Exit, you will be 3 minutes from my house. East ridge is the city that I was a firefighter in, before driving 18 wheelers.
