Listen. Tyler brown was bad at RT & Guard.. cash did okay but he was getting pushed back and couldn’t move nothing on run plays. It’s a reason why he was a walk on. Phillip Houston ain’t starting for sh*t being a 260 pound RT getting bull rush and letting people fly by him on the edge. Harden not starting either. Illinois Guard going to start, Louisiana tech center going to start and Texas A&M dude going to start, all of them are bigger then our previous line from last year.

Let's also tee up what Pat Shurmur does different with offensive sets/plays to take advantage of what Salter did well at LU. This will be a lot differrent that what was done in '23 and '24 with Shadeurs' skillset. Salter and JuJu bring more athleticism to the QB room. The OLine will need to also be able to improve downfield blocking on RPOs.

You could discuss 1s vs 1s at CU to discuss who the projected ballers might be. In 2025 I'd like to see the DB coach focus more on sounder tackling techniques from the CBs and Safeties. No more knock out hit tackling. That is poor form and lends to big plays given up. I saw Shilo Sanders do too much of this and didn't improve in tackling in 2024. The LB play and takling was improved in 2024.

I’m so confused on the Kaiden Salter production because his stats not matching. I understand everybody saying he’s athletic because he runs. But I find that quarterbacks who like to run a lot are usually not accurate passers. Julian can escape the pocket and his accuracy is top level. I can’t see him sitting on the bench the whole season. It may be a learning curve but I see it being short for him.

Salter is a really good qb you can’t go off the stats with the 2024 season because liberty didn’t really have a good team this season compared to the 2023 team they had but i think Salter is the for sure starter because he is going to open up the run game with him and the running backs and with the receiving core the buffs have he is going to go back to the 2023 passing stats he had imo

Learning curve for true freshman QBs can be a lot. Just look around the ncaa, it’s not many examples of very successful freshman QBs. I think it’s wiser to let Juju sit the whole year. Salter is actually a good QB, sometimes we get caught up in high school hype which is completely different than a proven QB at the college level.

If you watch his highlights Salter has better Accuracy than Juju as of right now and he’s more athletic. There’s no replication for experience. Even if Juju was more talented he’d be 10x more prone to mistakes at the collegiate level than a 3 years starter in Salter

O Miller is wr1. Period. With that said, the entire wideout room is explosive. The QB is going to determine how lethal they will be. If its the Liberty guy, then he is going to run and take catches away. If its JuJuz and he is effective, there is going to be a pi ball effect with all the stats lighting up. The run game will continue to suck if Pat only runs the ball up the middle. He is antiquated and unimaginative. No motuon, no bouncing to the outside, underutilized passes for slot receivers and backs outbthe backfield. If Pat sucks, the offense will suck. And he was bad lad year.

I get it juju was a 5 star that drop to a 4star when he reclassified but you don’t know ball if you are saying a QB that threw for 3500 yards & rush for 1,000 yards in the same season while taking his team to a undefeated record before losing to Oregon is inferior!! He was a Top 5 QB in the portal. I get it, you like juju but it doesn’t make sense to start a 17 year old freshman when you have a dynamic QB in for one season to build the gap so juju can get ready for his redshirt freshman season.. P4 programs don’t start freshman QB’s unless you are Nebraska who literally didn’t have any good QB on their roster to compete for the starting Job

Salter is what’s called a “bridge QB”. Do you think Alex Smith is a better player than Patrick Mahomes? Pat Mahomes was in that position his first year… because he had to adjust to the speed of the NFL. Same situation, albeit this is college. The speed of college ball is very different from high school. Even the best high school football is nowhere near as fast as college ball. Salter is already used to the speed of college ball. Juju is 17 years old, it will take time for him to settle in. If they threw Juju out there too soon, it would quite possibly be disastrous for his development.

@JohnJones-m8s I understand the bridge plan, I just don't it will work in Colorado. Experts and Scouts , who have seen JuJu in person, say he is as ready, as he will be. Reports are JuJu is extremely intelligent, with a very high IQ, which means he will pick up faster, than the average quarterback. JuJu is already bigger than Salter, financially, and any other way. I'm concerned that once JuJu wins the job, Salter might diss the program, on the way to the portal, or going to get a job. Reports are Salter , was not well liked at Liberty, and may be a cancer , in the locker room. Colorado may have made a mistake , in bringing him in.
