I always wonder why there are so many plus women in HBCU bands! 18-23 are a woman's prime years yet so many are plus size. It seems the smaller the HBCU the bigger the females, band to auxiliary. The cadence is dope.

I'm actually the second tuba player in there, but I was the oldest at 34 years old playing! And yeah the girls don't turn away cornbread 😅 it was a interesting experience and can'twait to get my own tuba 😊

Miles “College” does not have Chaperones. Those are staff members that you see. They are working to make sure everything flows smoothly.

@jazzturtle Either way. No HBCU band or Division 1 school has anyone staff or not walking in the middle of the band. The monitoring of the band as done from the side to keep ordernance . Take a look at all the videos on here for guidance

Drum majors look tacky with what they have on. They look like the are practice with those white things under them. The color should at least match.
