@@eattheboard1684 hell no I hate when movies or shows or games do that, where they tease this sweet costume or suit or gadget or something and then wait until the ass end to reveal it. Like in the daredevil show, literally the whole time I just wanted to see his actual costume and then he only wore it for one episode at the end of the first season or like a video game where you get an upgrade right before the final boss and it’s like “well great now I can only use this for like two levels”. I think it tends to be distracting, there should be a balance between giving it the weight it needs and not being distracting. It worked out ok in daredevil because obviously they had more seasons but still it was nagging me like the whole time I watched season 1

I love this scene so much, and while is similar to Peter's scene in the first game, is also totally different. In spider-man PS4 the new suit scene is a representation of a modern take on spider-man while he is still the same character with his essence, that's why he says "new suit same old me". While in SM Miles Morales this scene is a representation of Miles getting out of Peter's wings, the suit is about Miles stoping being just a sidekick, to be his own hero, to be spider-man. So good

@@Knighttt662 yes they are both similar as it’s About Miles but they are two different versions of Miles and Miles story has always been about learning to be Spider Man in his own way but the difference is Miles in spider verse and in the ultimate Comics didn’t have a Peter and Miles didn’t ask to become spider man and when he got his powers it was stressful for him but if you look at this version of Miles he wants to be like Peter so much to the point he feels the only way he can be Spider Man is by being like Peter and it’s because he looks up to Peter to the point he feels he can’t be spider man because he isn’t Peter but he eventually learns Being Spider Man doesn’t mean doing it Peters way but it’s about what does it mean to be Spider Man what does it mean to Miles and understand what it means to him to be Spider Man and instead of trying to be Peter be himself be his own version of Spider Man and this is his time to shine it’s his moment his time not Peters because it’s not about Peter anymore because Miles is also now Spider Man but in Spider Verse it was about coming to terms from a boy who liked Spider Man but when he got the powers he didn’t want them but it’s about accepting it’s his responsibility now that Peter Parker is dead and he is Spider Man and needs to carry the mantle of spider man to protect those dear to him and everyone around him and he is the one and only spider man now where in Spider Verse similar situation he didn’t want to be spider man but overtime he learns that the people need him and it’s about him accepting his responsibility as Spider Man but through out the movie it’s also him learning when he is ready to be spider man hopefully that makes sense so yes they are similar themes in story but also there are differences

Being a hero is not good or fun when it gets serious, and you see that later on as it's all a shock to Miles, expecting more of a fantasy cause no one really knows what Pete goes though except MJ, even then, doesn't scratch the surface through the pain he's gone through.

It’s kind like every suit that Barry wears in CW isn’t a Barry Allen original since he didn’t make none of those Flash suits. But let’s say if we did have a Flash season 10 and it has Barry actually make himself a new suit. That would be a Barry Allen original since it would be the first suit made by him and only him.

Lots of us were in the same boat. Miles is now my 2nd favorite Spider-Man, but it wasn’t always that way. I also judged Miles too harshly when he first came out because I resented the fact that they killed Ultimate Peter Parker in the comics to introduce Miles. It took me years to give Miles a fair chance and when I started reading his comics before ItSV came out, I found I actually liked him… but Idk… something felt missing. Then ItSV and this game came out and both touched on the idea of being a hero your own way, and also Miles had his own interest besides the science thing he shares with Peter (art for SV, music for Insomniac Miles)… and Miles felt complete. Before I knew it, as I kept reading Miles comics, watched the movies, and played the game… Miles became my 2nd favorite… behind only the OG Peter Parker himself. Overtime I realized, Miles is not just another Spider-Man… he’s the next generation Spider-Man… and that’s amazing.

One thing insomniac hasn't failed in is the main character's relationships with others every Ganke/Miles interaction is wholesome and/or funny the moments between Miles and Rio are warm and heartfelt you smile after every interaction they have (or at least I did) even after the argument they have when Miles says mom like he's going to have something more to say on the matter he asks for the hot chocolate instead and Rio knowing all Miles has gone through (before the Spiderman thing) says she doesn't mind and her VA does such a good job she has that soft caring mom voice like how May was soft and caring with Peter Rio is to Miles what May was to Peter I hope we see Miles and Peter's relationship develop in the next game like close friends or similar to brothers like Miles and Ganke

I like how in Octavius suit design, he notes that the white spider logo was to make Peter harder to see when moving in the suit, but because Miles has Invisibility powers, he doesn't need to have any white on his suit at all.
