I really love Miles! I pick up the tradepaperbacks from the current run and already have the all new/all different omnibus. Now i just ordered this book, really excited to read everything! Greetings from germany 😁✌🏼

Yeah, bringing back Peter felt like it cheapened his death too. Especially since Marvel said the Ultimate-verse was going to be it's own thing and stuff that there was permanent. Just seemed weird, then again there was all that fan anger for Miles even being a Spider-Man. But overall, i did enjoy this Omni, and think I like Miles in the Ultimate stuff better than Peter. Think it was due to him being a new character that I had to learn about. While Peter will always be Peter and Marvel can't really change him that much since we all know him. That binding is a pain too. Book is readable and holds together, but I've tried about 3 times to glue it back and it's never successful. I've just given up. Maybe replace it if there's ever a reprint, but I'd still buy it again with this issue anyway. Great Review Gem!

This is one Spider-Man run I can’t wait to read. I’m gonna do what you did Gem and I’m gonna read the whole Ultimate Spider-Man run from beginning to end. I have all the issues in singles but I have a few collected hardcovers. I know it’ll take me a while but I can’t wait to get started. I know you like early Bagley but that’s one thing that always drew me to the series was his artwork. Awesome review Gem 💎

Man growing up I was a Batman fan. Batman the animated series started it all for me. Then I started seeing Spider-Man’s animated show (like the original) and I enjoyed that. But for years I just stuck with Batman. Now in 2019 I’m becoming such a big Spider-Man fan & it’s fascinating learning about the whole spider verse. It’s a lot different from the 90’s man. Shit when I left Spider-Man venom was just coming around and what not. Now there’s spider ham, miles, 2099, Ben Riley, that Japanese cyber robot Spider-Man & little girl. You have spider women. I mean maybe some of them were around back then but I don’t remember them at all. But this omni looks awesome man, I love the art work. Spidey art work is always fun. And just a suggestion, can you do a video on how to understand Hickman’s writing? Because that dude has me lost every time I read his stories!!! Keep it up Gem 💎 Mint 🤙🏻🔥

I had the french version of that omni but it was only #1-28 + U SM #200. You had to pick Spider-Men and Cataclysm up elsewere. Sold it for 200$ lmao. French Omnis are a pain man, they are the same size as regular comics and there are only two Marvel Omni per year. I definitly have to pick this one up before the price goes too high.

Just finished this omni. Loved it and thought the character of miles was perfectly written. I really don’t think they should have brought Peter Parker back. They should have committed to this. I’m happy for him to have met the alternative universe one but nothing more. I also felt that miles was over powered at times. I know he’s suppose to be stronger than Peter but taking out Green Goblin and then Dr Doom with ease felt too much. Dr Doom’s IQ is through the roof and I just can’t imagine Miles taking him down like that.

I feel like once they kill off a character, bringing him back just takes away everything he died for. Sure, you like to see the happily ever after, but it's almost like they want to keep Peter on standby in case they need to bring him back in as the Spiderman to replace Miles. If your going to kill off a hero you need to be committed to it. This just makes it awkward and confusing and even takes away from the new Spiderman. Choose one, or choose none, in my opinion.

I have to disagree with you on that. Miles father Jefferson Davis probably was more upset and disappointed at Miles from being Spider-Man and brought the chaos to the household which ended up getting his mom killed. His brother Aaron was doing terrible things and was evil but he still loved him regardless. Jefferson was just going through something right now but he wasn't actually disowning his son, just needed some space.

Bendis wrote everything in this Omni. I loved Spider-Men but that retitled series after Cataclysm was wack as hell except the issues dealing with Miles's dad's hate of mutants and powered people. The team with Cloak and Dagger was awesome. Cataclysm event is pretty great too, I have the OHC. Miles has an impact on Ultimates by Hickman and the Humphries Divided We Fall, United We Stand. Next Miles Morales Spider-Man Omnibus doesn't have Spider-Men II which is just terrible so gladly you'll be spared that. Bringing back Ultimate Peter Parker will forever stain this series, he makes a cameo in Spider-Men II which did not help explain or make you feel better about it at all.

Jessica Drew becomes Black Widow in All-New Ultimates. It's a Young Avengers styled team that spun out after the Survive issue which is a tie in to Cataclysm. it was pretty good but Ultimate FF was the best follow up (before Ultimate Universe was gone forever, even dealt with incurcions).
