Having finally played street fighter for the first time, I have such renewed appreciation for the things Max makes look so easy. The input windows for drive rush into combos, not to mention comboing into supers, feel incredibly tight to a newbie like me.

A shortcut for Drive Rush out of Parry is to tap forward once, then hit your Parry button/mediums before or at the same time as your second forward input

QCF is quarter circle forward, the motion you do for hadoken or super

One small thing that makes this game sooo much more watchable for me is the fact that the animations during footsies (like walking back, forward, back) is so much smoother. There was something with the old style of walking animations without a smooth transition that just messed with my eyes

Yep and you can’t really even block against her too much cus she’ll eat your drive gauge away so fast. The game plan against Marisa is basically use parry a lot and just be patient because most of her charge punches are very punishable

A lot of people let marisa charge her gladius, but all you have to do is hit her with a crouching kick or anything that hits low, she only has armor on upper body.
