I wish this had the V6 like the GX. Also I prefer this interior dash over the GX. I can't stand when everything is controlled from a touch screen. If the touch screen breaks in a few years you can't use the heating or A/C anymore.

For MY 2025 or later, Toyota could give the Land Cruiser 250 a 3-row extended wheelbase variant as well as the following trims for both in place of the 1958 and LC ones being used by the SWB LC250 for the 2024 MY: * SR5 * Heritage (replaces both 1958 and LC combined) * TRD Pro * Trailhunter * GR That will mean most of the trims for the larger albeit unnecessary Sequoia including the Capstone trim will be dropped with the exception of the Premium and TRD Pro trims.

I still think it’s a bit odd that it doesn’t tow more. It weighs a lot less and is very close to the GX in terms of hp and torque. My only thought is that it has to do with the LC figures being combined rather than just engine

7.9 0-60? thats gotta be extremely off. the stock 2.4 liter non hybrid tacoma does 0-60 in 7.3. someone needs to do an accurate test of its 0-60 or else this whole hybrid motor doesnt make sense.

Theres no way a N/A 2.4 tacoma does 0-60 in 7.9 seconds plus this LC prado id heavier. The 2.8l diesel does in 10 seconds

To see this type in ACCELER8 and he did a 0-60 in the new tacoma “non hybrid” and it did it in 7.3 seconds. now maybe this was downhill or maybe the device he used wasnt working properly but id expect a much better time with all the torque that the hybrid motor adds
