If you want my advice (i've playing 20 years), don't fix your mind on be the best. It's better focus on improve day by day and enjoy the process, it's a wonderfull but long path.

I'm not sure but to me it sounds like a piezo... I've heard a similar sound on classicals if that's anything to go by.

In Albania we use milet to mean sth like "a community of people". I think it' of Turkish origin but not sure. Interesting seeing it in an anime song 😅. Wonder what it means...

Hello! Turkic person here :D Just to inform you that you are correct about the word milet haha. Also, Milet is the name that the singer of the song goes by. Not sure if it is her real name, might just be for stage. Milet/millet is also a type of plant that can be consumed as grains, and there is also japanese millet... so it seems that this is the most widely known meaning.
