Jeremy Horn was and is amazing! One of my all time favorites. His Jiu-Jitsu was so damn smooth ❤

It's crazy how good their speech is and how sharp the minds of guys like Jeremy Horn, Dan Severn, Shannon Ritch, Valentijne Overeem etc Who had so many fights compared to guys who had much less than them and are showing clear signs of CTE.

Takes me back to… sometime around 1997 or 98. Jeremy drove to Evansville from Nebraska and fought in our gym. and competed against the guy we brought over from Brazil. Scott Sullivan brought over Anabel Braga and Mario Roberto. Mario gave me a blue belt around 1999. And Jeremy and Mario did a submission grappling tournament that went on for 30 minutes. I wonder if that was before or after he joined Militich?

1:03:00 Tim Sylvia, Minotauro Nogueira and Roberto Traven. These are the three fighters to have the arm snapped by Frank Mir.

Crazy how UFC didn't give Rico another shot and big Tim Sylvia,they were recognisable fan fauvs,I don't know weather it was cause tht casino(a rival casino to the one UFC was getting hosted in))sponser that Rico got put on his back ,I think Dana had to put his hand in his pocket to get the casino to not pull the show,Dana called Rico an idiot for nearly getting the show stopped. .I just looked in Rico's sherdog he's fighting soon it says Don't know why some of the fans hate Tim ,he's always in good fights.

Imagine being a world champion and cut by the UFC by the age of 25… and never closing that chapter in your life almost 25 years later
@josephmills-mw2hs27 күн бұрын
@@LytesOutMMAHistory yeah must hurt , surely there's more to Rico not getting back into the UFC and not just cause of the casino sponser story! What do u think? ,do u think it's just Dana and the UFC holding a grudge cause he nearly got the show stopped(accidentally), I was watching a fitch interview ,and he said the UFC matched him against tough guys no one heard of, them cut him after one loss.
