Miley Cyrus - Disney Legends Ceremony 2024

Miley Cyrus, known to DIsney Channel fans as Hannah Montana, made Disney Legend history last night by becoming the youngest ever inductee at the age of 31. She was introduced by a performance of the "Hannah Montana" theme song, “The Best of Both Worlds,” by country music star Lainey Wilson. During her acceptance speech, Cyrus joked that she and Bob Iger were brought in to save Disney in the late 2000s.

I am 28 years old and was a huge fan of Miley Cyrus and Hannah Montana when I was a kid. I thought that Hannah Montana was real for some reason... I grew up with all the disney legends and Miley was my rolemodel. I loved her music and still does. I also saw every movie she has been in. I was schoked in a periode and it was hard for me to see during her difficult periode, but I still loved her vocal and music and a few years ago my inner Miley fan resurfaced. In a way I have never stopped beeing a fan from when I was a kid till now. I was a huge fan of her back in the day as a kid (I made my own Hannah Montana Halloween costume in 2006 bc I couldn’t find any in stores), fell out for a time (you know how it is), years later I’ve found my way back to her and just give her so much grace for the journey she’s been on especially starting out so young. I loved watching Hannah Montana on Disney Channel growing up starting at age 7 in 2006 to age 12 in 2011. Her movie was my most favorite to this day. Wish Disney would consider making a new spin-off show where Miley Cyrus as her character Miley Stewart aka formerly Hannah Montana now is in her 30's,has a career she doesn't like,still single and lives in her own place in LA and finds her passion to return to her musical roots and begin singing again but as herself,not Hannah Montana. Call it simply Miley:The Show.
