Miley has attracted quite the crowd with everything she's done. A bunch of people who feel somewhat represented in her ever changing and breaking genre barriers. That's why nothing "new" she ever does is shocking! She's evolving, growing like everyone else, so why blame her, right?

Miley has always been versatile and never the same, the thing is that people is noticing that just now! I've been her fan since she started her carreer, and her ability of changing and trying new styles is one of her cualities that I value the most, because she doesn't care about doing "the right thing", she does what she feels right, and that is soooo freaking genuine

to say the truth its kinda funny cuz she always had this kinda rock vibe, search for "kicking and screaming" performances for example(she was always covering some old rock songs too). but at the same time she has country on her veins and was doing a some pop.... to me, the only "shocking" was when she started do some urban stuff, but I was always litening to this kinda of sound, to me, she was just doing something she liked to hear when she was partying at that time(cuz after all, she is human too and party like us hahaha)

I’m 50, I was a child of the 80s, a Metalhead. I always thought Miley was more of bubblegum/pop and never gave her a second thought. The first time I really sat and listened to her was plastic Hearts yesterday. What an amazing mature artist, lyrically clever, versatile even after her vocals changed. I was blown away am totally hooked and a fan for life! I’m so stoked she is exploring more rock/metal! Even if metal is just in her covers. Right on Miley! When my son was 4 I bought him a little drum set , put on some Joan Jett and told him to get his Rock on, it would help him get through life! Ain’t head banging and rock in’ out fun!!

Really amazing rendition but I do wonder if she knows what this powerful song is about(please no haters I'm a massive mileyb fan),, I am English and being born in the late 70 ,watched the raw pain of what was going on in Ireland ,, as the late great Dolores O'Riordan said (lead singer of the cranberries who originally done this song),,,,,,bombs,guns and unnecessary deaths ,,it was so horrendous,, this amazing song made people take a step back and notice,,,,,,, all I can say is Miles you are amazing and your voice is also x

And all these recent covers she's been doing have been such a pleasure to listen to. Way to go, Miley!

I lived near Seattle WA in 1991 when Nirvana's album Nevermind was being introduced to the world. The marketing technique was superb and the results changed music forever. Elvis did it as well as the Beatles and The Rolling Stones. I have never been a Miley Cyrus fan, but I am now as of nearly two weeks ago when I ran across this video. I had chill bumps for an hour and couldn't stop playing it over and over. Then I found her other recent recordings...Sweet Jane, Just Breathe, Communication, and several others. I have listened to each of them many times. Some mornings I wake up and go straight to Sweet Jane with my first cup of coffee. Miley's voice is absolutely perfect! I am anticipating the release of her album next month and predict there is a BIG chance she may open the ears of millions of more listeners and make history along the way. I have been sober for 12+ years and have blessed beyond measure ever since. I hope and pray that Miley continues to take her sobriety seriously and blesses us with her tremendous talent. Peace, Love and Happiness to all...

I've never liked any of her original music, but literally anything i've heard her cover is almost better than the original. Her voice is meant for what she's covering and if she did music in that style, i'd probably be a fan. Her blondie cover, was epic.

The amount of money I would pay for a cover album or a tour where she just sings covers, is astonishing. 👏🏻😍

@@deeturner5797 it's about trauma from the violence in Northern Ireland
@DenverStarkey5 ай бұрын
@@deeturner5797 my knowledge might not be 100% accurate but , in early 1990's an IRA bombing of a london shopping center killed two boys around the ages of 4-6. the cranberrries being Irish relased this song as a response as a way to say "not all Irish". that bombing's "misfire" led to the IRA disbanding and ending it's terrorist campaign agaisnt England that had been going on since 1916.
