Miley Cyrus was truly born to be a rockstar. Debbie Harry said she nailed this cover and that she's obsessed with Miley, Suzi Quatro approached to Miley to play her in biopic, Joan Jett performed with Miley a multiple times and gave to Miley a honour to introduce her at Rock and roll hall of fame in 2015, Stevie Nicks said she considers Miley as her goddaughter and that she will buy gifts to her! Miley is bringing female rock music back and i'm so happy. And look at how she's enjoying to be on stage, a true performer giving so much energy during pandemic! She's in her element.

Astute observation .. spot on! Even as a 43 year old myself, who has seen his share of things come and go, I've always been quite amazed by her talent and drive. Something I don't say about many artists and even less about most younger artists. I've certainly had moments, where I wondered if music had all gone to hell. Which makes it all the more heartwarming to see young(er) talent like Miley still/again kicking it like it's nobodies business. I'm just a man with an opinion though. Those rock icons definitely have way more merit to recognize the awesome brilliance within Miley.

Sure, i agree 100%. Too bad, however, she chooses to utilize her power and her voice to be disrespectful towards our country....instead of just being who she wants to be and living her life however she chooses. You know, you can say her voice, her opinion, but use that in the same context only with our previous President's name, Donald Trump, and pay attention to how all of the sudden it doesn't seem to apply for him....and think about how unfair that might come across to those who support him and agree with him. Thats a little over half the US citizens who feel slighted by people who say her opinion, her voice when she denounced this country and publicly unsulted and showed unbridled hatred for our former President yet when he said absolutely anything at all he wasnt given the same indifferent attitude. He had a flashlight up his backside for 4 straight years and endured that kind of disrespect by a mob-mentality-type group of people on the daily, and did so with more dignity than most, including ms cyrus, could have possibly faked. I wasnt even that excited about his win in 2016 because i wanted Ted Cruz to win, but watching the vultures go after him day after day after he accomplished as much as he had promised in spite of the DNC doing everything they could think of to stop him, my respect and admiration grew considerably...as did everyone else that i spoke to who agreed with conservative politics and was blown away by his commitment and loyalty to our country! I hate that i like this version of the Blondie song because of her nasty attitude and bad influence on children showing her hyper-sexuality without regard for her younger fans, and/or more modest fans, but im able to admit it and explain that although i disagree with almost everything about her, i like her passion.

@Twist Well, I think, that because she adds her own distinctive twist to almost any genre, she deserves credit. True she's not an abundantly talented musician like Dolly Parton or Stevie Nicks who write what they perform, something's to be said for her ability to sing (Jolene, 50 Ways To Leave Your Lover.) She's not a musical genius but she's a good performer and good interpreter of songs. Whether this garners her admiration and respect from music fans is truly a personal choice.

This woman evolves into new levels of incredible. At the begging of her career, I did not care for her with her first 3 albums. Then came BANGERZ, and my respect for her begun. She created a pop classic. There's disposable pop, and then there's BANGERZ, pop that created something new and groundbreaking in the pop genre. Dead Prez came out after and I was convinced she was a respectable artist. SHE IS COMING was friken amazing pop music again. Miley cyrus has shown that sometimes the music industry gets talent artist and destroy their talent and washes them of it with their agenda. She has came and evolved into her own and the product of that is the masterpieces she has been given us by being her genuine self and releasing her raw talent.

Well now since she has the power to do what she wants and not what her record label/manager tells her, she’s so much more musically powerful. I don’t care for her music, but she’s experimental, she’s adaptive, and has a brilliantly unique and unusual voice. She’s definitely very unique for a headlining artist, a lot of them are typical (like Justin Bieber, I would say he’s a good singer - but his music is average and hasn’t ever really changed).
