being in Elementary was the best time of my life. Everything was just fun and normal at the time. That was til I got into middle school. when I got into 6th grade, everything turned upside down. I would constantly get into trouble for nothing like just drawing in the middle of class because well, I like drawing it’s something I’ve alway liked doing. another thing I would get into trouble doing was staying in the boys bathroom for part of the school day sometimes just to skip at least one class. because of all the bad times middle school with me getting into trouble, I ended up having trouble with learning, I started to get social anxiety, and also on an autism spectrum. to this day, I’m still on an autism spectrum, still have difficulty with learning but I am getting a bit better with my social anxiety finally. I believe I’ve had it (started in I should also say as well) since the 8th grade. now that I’m in high school, 9th grade was just as bad as middle school for me, I was one time late for Advisory class and when I finally got to the room, I decided not to walk in since it was too late and because of my social anxiety so that way I wouldn’t be the center of attention. so what I did was I walked around different hallways to kill some time to see more parts of the school since I was new and I tried to be discrete so I wouldn’t get caught cause of what happened back in middle school. then next thing you know, I got caught by one of the custodians and sent me down to the Discipline office which is a place where students go when they get into trouble. as the guy in the discipline office talked to me, I was crying because of how upset I was when I got into trouble once again but this time in high school. in my Biology class back in 9th grade when we had to be paired up in groups,I would just sit there at my table because I didn’t want to be the center of attention cause of my social anxiety. and whenever I did that, either the teacher or the assistant teacher (who helps out with the class) would tell me that I would be sent me to the discipline office because of my behavior but they would never understand how bad my social anxiety was at the time. They were never mean teachers they were always nice to me but they never understood that I had social anxiety. sorry if I’m typing too much by the way, but this is just me sharing my story. Present day : 2nd semester of 10th grade soon to be in 11th grade, (I’m not gonna mention 1st semester because I wanna try and not to type too much which I know I already am) things are starting to get better for me for once. I’m getting better with my social anxiety but I am still struggling a lot with school even though I am getting a little teeny bit better with my difficulty with learning. I go to counseling once a month and all I can say is that I’m doing good 😊. right now, this Hannah Montana song, “the Climb” is my official theme song of me struggling my way through high school trying to graduate and with difficulty of learning and I’ll sometimes sing this karaoke version when I want to for a reminder of knowing that I’ll be ok.

I finally did it. I finally sang this song without crying to the point of not being able to even sing this song, because of crying. And not only did I finally sing it, but I sang it pretty good. At least I think so. I have been thru a lot, recently. I am going thru a divorce. My soon to be Ex Wife might probably try to get a judge to let her take my 2 daughters to Arizona to get help with the 2 kids, from her family that's also moving from Washington to Arizona. And it will take me 6 months to 3 years to move from Washington to Arizona, and away from family, friends, Church, Affordable Apt, etc. And I survived a Stroke, about 6 months ago. I couldn't talk, sing very well, and couldn't use my right side well. Eating, and walking, Bathing, dressing, cleaning, signing my name, writing, etc, was hard. I am able to do all those things now. About 69 to 73% of what I used to be able to do before stroke. I can now walk 2 miles. I can almost run, ride a bike. Also recently I got tendonitis is my stroke effected right arm. These trials are, have been so hard. And I have been to some dark, bleak, etc, places in my heart, mind, soul. But I have had help from God, Church, some family, friends, counselors, etc, that have helped, are continuing to help, support me. This song is so inspiring, true And I know life is all about The Climb. And I am glad that I can finally sing this song now. I hope this helps, gives those who are also struggling encouragement, hope, etc, which is something we all need, even if not admitted, realized, etc.
