People often mistake a singer being a specific genre with being more or less talented. There's plenty of pop singers that don't get any respect despite being brilliant vocalists. Just look how much better some people respond to Miley as she's switched to a more rockier sound. It's not that she wasn't good before, people are just hearing it in a different light now.

It’s a common practice for professional singers to keep their breath in check and be able to sustain effort for a whole show. Nothing groundbreaking in their line of business and especially at that level. They are paid millions, they better be able to do difficult stuff and deliver what they are paid for.

@@carly4422 And what I said is that most professional singers can do that, because if you can’t it means you can’t handle a show either. It’s her job to be able to do that . Do you “admire” also an athlete because he is able to train for 5 hours daily while you can’t?! The comparison is pointless Lol. It’s their job. And they get paid millions, so they better be good and put some effort into it. She’s good at what she does, I never said otherwise. I only said what she does here is not special for a singer of her level. They all do similar training because it’s part of their job.

Being an aerobic instructor back in the day of high impact and screaming over the music because we didn't have the proper stuff to get our voices across..........I can say it takes strong EVERYTHING to do this!! We used to do this for at least 2 hrs straight! Those were the days.........Miley is talented; period.
