I think that either Mahiru and her boyfriend were both originally suffering from depression and potentially suicidal tendencies, where Mahiru made her boyfriend’s depression worse, or she ruined his mental state to such a point where he became depressed and suicidal by relying on him for her own depression - in order to make him share her pain which she views as love. In her first mv, she describes how she wants to share pain with her boyfriend and have ‘matching pain’, (which she later refers to as matching love) while also saying that their ‘sickness is getting pretty bad’. It seems like she romanticises their pain, and thinks of it as part of their love. So she doesn’t want to get better, because she thinks that would harm their relationship, like where she says she ‘hates being ok’ (a more literal translation). This could also apply to her boyfriend, in that she doesn’t want him to get better either and so she gives him more pain (which she sees as love). The romanticism is also evident when she talks about ‘giving love to the point of pulling you down’, when she says she’s ‘happy to get hurt when they argue’, and when she says that wanting to die because she can’t know everything about her boyfriend is part of love - she associates these negative things positively. Another thing to note is how she mentions she wants to see her boyfriend’s ‘cute confused face’ which could be a kind of early indication that she doesn’t take his emotions too seriously; it seems likely that she would find him cute when he’s upset. I think the first mv also suggests that Mahiru isn’t as happy as she seems when she says she sucks at pretending to smile but relies on her boyfriend to feel ‘better’, which could also put a lot of pressure on him if he was already depressed, or would influence his mental state. In this mv, it seems like the cake represents the ‘love’ she was feeding him which was probably very unhealthy (which could mean the boyfriend also fed her this to some extent, or that it just represented the overall love he gave to her). When he was at his limit, feeling very depressed and suicidal, she fed him more of this unhealthy ‘love’ which made him feel even worse. I don’t think if he was fine before Mahiru he would have killed himself (unless she hurt him so badly he became depressed); it would require Mahiru to be insanely controlling which I don’t think she was (although she definitely was a bit controlling). Also, I think it’s notable how both of them are worn and tattered up in the forest, however Mahiru is content while her boyfriend is suffering - which could reinforce that she thinks their ‘shared pain’ is what makes up their love and is happy about it. So essentially Mahiru feels that their shared pain (depression, suicidal nature) makes up their relationship, so she doesn’t want the two of them to get better as she feels their pain is the love between them. She gives a lot of ‘love’ to her boyfriend, unaware that it is actually pain and hurts him so much that he wants to commit suicide, which makes her confused and regretful as to why the love she gave him caused such an ending unlike other couples.

that is also what i thought of! notice on how the cake when mahiru was feeding her bf it, it was bigger which means bigger affection… in mahiru’s vision. that’s when it turned into rats in her bf’s pov, meaning that her “affectionate” words weren’t helping. but mahiru’s bf fed her a small amount, but notice on how his hand was under it as if he didn’t want to drop it and be careful when feeding her it, that didn’t turn into rats in any of their povs i feel like mahiru is deceiving us 😭

I think the PV makes everything pretty clear but let's still go. In Mahiru's head the relationship is perfect and everything is okay. However, in reality it is toxic on both of their end. Tho house/room in the PV sembolizes their relationship. Mahiru sees it as a bright and cozy place while in reality it is a crumbled place. Food (cake specifically) is a metaphor for the love that Mahiru gives. She sees it as a big sweet cake but in reality she is feeding him rats, meaning that she did not do toxic things on purpose but that she saw that as her giving him her best. We can also see how he feeds her cake, that would show how he was actually giving her love (or what she saw as love). In the later parts of the PV we can see him starving, loosing weight and being too weak to walk. That shows how she did not give him the love that he gave her. And when she tries to give him love she thinks that she gives him love of the same value as he gave her but ends up feeding him rats. Next point, the forst. I think that in the fandom many agree that it is a direct allusion to the suicide forest. This PV made it canon that in the end the boyfriend commits suicide. If we take forest as a symbolic thing, we can see how they walk throught the forest both messed up. That shows their relationship. It left both of them in a bad mental space and both of them suffer. However, Mahiru refuses to see it and she still sees it as a happy place with merry go rounds. She is the one who is leading the way while walking and boyfriend stops walking at some point. He gives up but she would keep on going. Then she feeds him rats instead of an actual food, and this is her crime moment. The starvation and exhaustion is a direct parallel to their metal health. He needed to have a nutritious food at that moment to survive, but all that Mahiru could give him were dead animals. So, basically what happened in real life is that he was getting to a mental point where he couldn't keep on going and was feeling like he wanted to end it all. He needed some actual love and affirmation at that time but when Mahiru tried to do so, she once again acted in a toxic way towards him and that was the final straw for him and he killed himself. Based on both this PV and trial 1 one, Mahiru only realizes how badly she was treating him after he killed himself and before that she thought that she was a good girlfriend. In my humble opinion it is difficult to say that is guilty. She wasn't doing something bad on purpose and she just sees being in a toxic situationship as her "being herself". She is probably someone who never experienced a healthy enviornement and she just saw her actions as normal. She is clearly mentally unstable and she regrets her action after realizing what she did. Then again it isn't easy to call her completely innocent. I am lost about how to vote her this time.

I don't see anyone mentioning it, but in the first MV, Mahiru was often portrayed with a cat-like attitude. I think the mouse here is supposed to be a reminder of that and a subtle hint towards her toxic relationship. You probably know that cats often bring home mice as gifts for their owners. To us, humans, it's a weird sight and we have to pretend to appreciate it because the cat meant well. I also read somewhere that they do this because they're afraid we might be hungry. I think it's a very interesting thing to see it depicted in this MV ! Mahiru, the cat, meant well by trying to feed her boyfriend, the human, but due to their different perceptions of that gesture, her boyfriend only saw it as a terrifying act.

@@king0fspades36 She’s also in a poor mental state right now after receiving the guilty vote and being told her love is wrong. Mahiru is the type of person who thinks being hurt by her partners is a good thing (she alludes to “matching pain” in How To Be In Love With You) and says she’ll do or be anything her boyfriend wants. As opposed to her knowing the relationship was bad and being in denial, I think she rather is aware she’s hurting her boyfriend and he’s hurting her but thinks it’s an expression of love. It’s more realistic with people who stay in toxic relationships that they do so because they genuinely thought it was normal and didn’t see anything wrong with it, and they only realize how bad it was after they leave and enter a healthy relationship. She doesn’t strike me as someone with self-awareness until we told her outright with the guilty vote.

If the mv mostly takes place in the forest that would be interesting. Forests are the natural habitat of birds so it could symbolize how Mahiru is out of the security of the "birdcage" and is now alone in the world without her boyfriend. Editing this now with seeing the music video- I think the merry go round is a metaphor for the relationship, it just keeps going around and around and dosent stop until we see the boyfriend's dead body. I think the cake represents maybe the toxicity, mahiru idealizes it (this is already hinted at in tihwtilwy, with all the talk about fighting and matching pain) but in the forest section, it's shown as rats. I'd also like to say, this is all mahiru's pov and while some lyrics may hint at it, she never once shows her boyfriend in a bad light. He's either idealized in a dream, or litterally dying cause of her. She refuses to believe he did anything wrong and never once tries to portray it that way. In the forest their both battered and torn, and I can only imagine that's meant to show how both of them have suffered cause the relationship but neither wanted to leave. Mahiru in the end just had the final blow. I still think she's innocent. she genuinely never wanted anyone dead and while she was toxic, this was her first ever time being in the relationship and the lyrics talk about how remorsing over what she'd do different. If given the chance, I don't think she would do the same thing over again. She'd just try her best to have a normal relationship. It should also be noted that in her voice drama, it's implied her boyfriend had the same idealized views of love as her Edit again cause im indecisive- I take back what i said about the cake representing toxicity, i think it represents shallow comfort. The boyfriend offers a very tiny slice of cake (only the edge of a slice) when mahiru is upset, and while it makes her happy- we see the carousel still spins. The carousel shows how no real problem was fixed, and things will keep going as it is. Then we see mahiru offer a big chunk of cake, and its pressumably from the same slice he offered as the edge is missing. Mahiru offers shallow comfort to him in a time of need, simply because she dosent know any other way to comfort him. Its why at the chorus she cries out about how she cant get things right, because shes just copying what he was doing (something she has always done, like when she copied his hobbies in tihwtilwy).

I think her ignoring or trivializing his boyfriend's problems could be one of the ways she hurted him.
Just a note for anyone about to write their theory: remember that the MVs are also reflective of their mental state, and what we see in the video may or may not accurately represent reality. In this case, remember that Mahiru currently thinks of herself as undeserving of love, and sees her love alone as a bad thing since we voted her guilty. Since most people here have pointed out the cake and rats being symbolism for stress/general toxicity, many people think Mahiru was very toxic to her boyfriend. Interestingly, the boyfriend is also feeding her the exact same cake. Which leads to my point, what if the boyfriend was also acting very toxic too? It’s just that Mahiru can’t see the rats/toxicness her boyfriend was giving her. It’s shown in the mv itself that Mahiru was seeing the situation in rose tinted glasses, and so I don’t have a hard time believing that she may be seeing his love in a similar way, thinking it was healthy, unable to see reality. I will not say whether I think she’s guilty or innocent though because 1. I don’t think voting is going to help the prisoners at all due to a theory I have, and 2. I have to watch the voice drama as well before coming to a decision. Edit: I just listened to the voice drama, and while I don’t understand Japanese, WOW is Mahiru setting off death flags for herself. I also noticed that she seems to be apologetic towards Kotoko and she apologizes a lot in the voice drama. To be honest, she kinda sounds like an abuse victim to me, but I don’t want to say that for sure. Again, I can’t say anything for sure cause I don’t speak Japanese, but her voice drama gives us a lot. Plus, Mahiru at the end telling Es she’s proud of him🥲

I'm sorry but I'm tired of these replies. As the user above me said, all of them need therapy. So with that logic we shouldn't vote anyone guilty anymore. But that aside, as a survivor of heavy mental ab*se in relationship I'm so tired of this "empathy for the perpetator" mentality in society. People are always so fixated on the abusing ones and their reasons. They completely forget about the survivors (or dead ones, like here) and how their life is a mess forever (or isn't anymore). Especially _they_ need therapy. So prisoners like Mahiru don't need a guilty vote? Even though she proceeded ab*sing her partner when she saw he was almost dead? There are pretty "grey" cases here, but she is one that looks more obvious on the more "guilty" side for me. (It even looked like she loved the way he looked when he was so exhausted and continued "feeding" him). So she should be forgiven? If even cases like her are forgiven, just who isn't forgivable then? And is it even possible to decide this from an outsider perspective, aren't the victims the only ones who are in a position to decide that (even though it isn't possible here anymore)? This is an interesting question that goes pretty well for all of Milgram, when you think about it.

After listening to Mahiru's Second Voice Drama, let me just tell you that she is probably even a bigger victim of the First Trial than we used to think💔 Es is generally really toned down here because they feel guilty for what happened to Mahiru, probably the most consoling they have ever been towards anyone. When asked what they saw in the first MV which made them not forgive Mahiru: they recall she was having fun and seemed happy, so... Tbh, it sounded almost like Es themselves started to question 'their' decisions here. Finally, they suggested that Mahiru was a stalker who perceived her obsession as something good for both sides (so they adopted one of the initial infamous fan theories as Es's "argument") Mahiru was hurt by this statement. She ensured that the feeling was mutual. Moreover, her boyfriend himself was speaking about "fate" that had a play in their happy relationship. After recalling how her relationship worked, she simply added "I'm not a stalker." She also sounded upset after hearing Es's reasoning which, to her, made her seem like a liar. Aside from that, we have a few moments where Mahiru gets weaker physically but brushes it off since she claims nothing can hurt her anymore/she doesn't feel anything because of the verdict. As she said earlier, not forgiving her = taking away her right to love = might as well die, nothing matters. Also usual deal with "Guilty" Prisoners being tormented by voices in their heads telling them they are wrong and everything is their fault. Finally, Es sounds regretful when Mahiru tells them to "continue to do their best" since she told them she loves people who do their work diligently, and they do a great job at that so far. We're probably going to get one hella heavy MV Please take this woman away from this hell🙏

Mahiru is a good girl, but as long as she is locked in her concept of love, she is a danger to all her partners. Also, unfortunately, we have not yet been able to see the relationship itself. Especially the negative side, the most was when they argued but "make up" (it still feels like she forced them to get back together). I am very concerned that she indirectly manipulated her boyfriend with "If this love doesn't work out, there's no point in living" without realising. Because that is Mahiru's bad point, she is so locked in her love mindset that if she does not get out of it, unfortunately she does not deserve her forgiveness, because forgiving her implies condemning the future of her next love. Still, I agree that it wouldn't be wrong to forgive her this trial to give her a rest, she needs it.
(note : i’ve edited this since MV release) “clothes food shelter, love + miss you” ooh??? i already suspected mahiru went through something tough in her life causing her obsession w love, but perhaps she really depended on her boyfriend? if she was getting literal shelter from him did she not have a proper home of her own? also because she looks really disheveled here and this snapshot is before milgram edit: okay. my new, RUSHED interpretation, it might not be fully accurate mappi music video - 2 ropes (edit: i just realized the second rope is part of the carousel, oops! but my theory still somewhat stands, just as my own personal theory :>) in the beginning of mahiru’s music video, there are two ropes (a rope besides her boyfriend.) the rope is really long, and doesn’t have a noose tie, so it could always just be the end of her boyfriends rope. if it’s a second rope, though- this rope could’ve been for mappi. i’ll get back to this later - carousel what do carousel’s represent? “The circle has always had magical properties. It is said to be the purest and most profound symbol in existence. It has no beginning and no end.” this definition is another reason why i think mahiru would’ve/wanted to kill herself along with her boyfriend. she wanted her love to be everlasting, she didn’t want to leave him, in the belief her love was healthy. mappi states that she decided she would live for love in T1 voice drama; if this love were to leave her, i’d assume she’d likely follow it. especially considering since mappi’s ideals were rejected after being voted guilty, she’s lost her will and meaning of living. when the carousel distorts after the chorus, this could possibly show how she, for whatever reason, didn’t decide to go through with her plan of suicide, therefore warping the cycle. but the carousel doesn’t fully disappear- it just becomes distorted, showing that her love for him (and love in general) is STILL there, even if the reality of her situation is moreso sinking in and crashing her delusion. At the end, the carousel does appear to slow down and possibly stop, though, also shown that it’s not moving in the beginning. - the rats i doubt that mappi was actually feeding her boyfriend rats. a lot of milgram videos are symbolic (unless muu is actually a bug). what do rats represent, then? google: “giving too much proportion to minor issues in life.” (for a rat on a doorstep specifically): “you do not need others to validate you or make you feel/look valuable.” in mappi’s POV, these rats are represented as cake. i explain later on why i think mappi is attempting to feed him the rats. something to note is that mappi’s boyfriend feeds her the cake first, which makes me wonder- did he unintentionally feed into this unhealthy delusion of hers, causing her to return the behavior to him? mappi is clearly really influenced by him as she relies on him, shown in some T2 lyrics: “if you won’t tell me, i can’t be me, food shelter clothing + love and miss you” “i don’t need anyone else as long as i have you, i could do anything as long as you smiled.” “the happiness WE tightly bound up and suffocated” the forest: - they are likely in aokigahara (suicide forest), where BF’s suicide is confirmed to have happened. mappi appears to be leading the way in these scenes. she’s still likely in her delusion that her love is good, and healthy. this is why in these scenes, while they’re both battered- she still looks somewhat healthy physically (tanner skin, eyes aren’t sunken in) while her boyfriend is very clearly malnourished (pale skin, sunken eyes, literlaly bloody) - i assume BF fell out of love with mappi (especially shown in TIHTBILWY: she has to beg her boyfriend to go on a date with her, he doesn’t realize when she’s gotten her hair/earrings done, etc. etc.) hence why he’s so malnourished (all out of love), yet mappi is still in the delusion that they’re still reciprocating the same feelings, both in love, hence why she’s in a better physical condition. - the fact that their clothes are tattered show that they both mutually struggled in this relationship, though, even if mappi didn’t realize. - her boyfriend tries to express the fact he’s fallen out of love/doesn’t want to be in the relationship anymore (on the ground begging her, + the whole “break up rituals” from the first song) but mahiru doesn’t fully understand this. she believes that he’s just having a small issue once more that she can help him with (feeding him the cakes/rats which = supposed minor issues). she doesn’t understand how serious his struggles are, and wants to help him or just struggle along with him (“let’s have matching pain” - first trial) - i also believe mappi’s ideal of love is very extreme and twisted anyways. i believe mappi’s ideal of love roots from some sort of coping mechanism, though we still don’t know much about her past or family dynamic. it’s clear she struggles a lot due to lyrics in her first MV, though: “we fought a lot, but i was happy to get hurt. let’s have matching pain, this sickness is pretty bad” “i suck at pretending to smile, but see! i’m happy because of you” “ - mappi has convinced herself that her love was normal and healthy (she voices this multiple times in the VD, too), and it also likely started out as healthy. she doesn’t realize how much her partner is hurting and how much she’s been hurting him, too. she believes he’s having minor issues that she can help him overcome; but in reality she’s harming him further, leading to him killing himself. i really don’t believe mahiru is intentionally being ignorant. i thibk now she realizes moreso her actions, her guilty vote crumbling w her delusion even further: “i have no right, crossed and covered in sin.” i believe that this relationship wasmutually unhealthy at various points, (especially based on the fact BF was feeding her cake at first.) my personal verdict is innocent, especially since jackalope states that if anything else happens to mappi; she WILL die (T2 commence video). affirming her delusion, if it’s still there, could be unhealthy, but she doesn’t deserve to die for it, especially painfully.

She is very likely to suffer from BPD, and most people with BPD come from troubled enviroment, i personally belive her family was really distant emotionally with Mahiru, esp considering how in the VD she said she used to think Love was just a fabtasy from the movies and wasnt real

Conclusion of this MV: she took "DENIAL" to another level

i know I’m a little late, but I love the repeated use of “ dai “ here. it sounds similar to the English word “ die, “ and mahiru saying it so many times could symbolise her thinking that she was properly “ loving “ and having a great relationship with her boyfriend, but when in reality, she was only hurting him. she was indirectly and unintentionally telling him to “ die, “ if you will.
Mahiru always have stated that a relationship should be about giving and taking since undercover. Mahiru emphasizes this line: "Clothes Food Shelter + Love and Miss you" Which showcases that Mappi is giving more to her boyfriend than what he is providing. One thing to remember is that the boyfriend works at a convenience store...they're not exactly beaming beacons of financial stability. We can see this by the cake the Boyfriend gives versus what Mahiru gives. Another interesting one is 0:15 this bit here. When she sings "理不尽 between 恋&愛" (ENG: "Unfair and stuck between in love and love") But when you listen closely, she's not saying "koi" (恋) and "ai" (愛), instead what she's saying is "Rei" (零) and "ai" (愛) "Zero/Nothing and Love" The carousel has multiple meanings. Let me just list out the relevant ones: Couples usually ride the carousel together. Either in the same horse or different ones as long as they are nearby each other. - Joy and Romance: Carousels are often associated with joy, playfulness, and a sense of enchantment. - Cycles of Love: Carousels can symbolize the cyclical nature of relationships. Love often goes through ups and downs, evolving and changing over time. - Nostalgia and Sentimentality: Carousels often evoke a sense of nostalgia and a longing for the past. It can represent sentimental feelings associated with love and romantic memories. It may symbolize a yearning for past loves, cherished moments, or a desire to recapture the excitement and innocence of early stages of love. - Balancing Acts: Carousels feature horses or other figures mounted on them, this can symbolize the need for balance and stability in relationships. It may suggest that successful relationships require a harmonious balance of individual needs, compromises, and mutual support. - Endless Love: Carousels spin endlessly, representing continuity and timelessness. It can symbolize enduring love and a desire for a love that lasts. It may signify a longing for a love that transcends time, where the intensity and passion remain constant. - Carousels traditionally uses a horse, but in Mahiru's Case, it can also symbolize Devotion and Loyalty. There's a thing since T1 Mahiru keeps doing with her boyfriend...And that's the Breakup Ritual so he could prove to her that he really loves her as much as she does, because... She's giving way more to this relationship. Notice how the Carousel distorts everytime we see the Boyfriend providing to Mahiru. It's because Mahiru right now feels the relationship is not balanced. You can also notice with the carousel and Mappi looking away, I personally believe Mahiru believes that with love they can overcome whatever situation they are in (I'm leading up to it I promise). Notice how one of the poles is a rope. Another thing you will notice in the video, there's a green horse that constantly follows these couple together. Red = Mahiru Blue = BF Green = Something. Most likely money or nature. I'm leaning towards Money. @1:17 ish The Green Horse (Money) following the Blue Horse (BF). Then following Mahiru at her dilapidated safe place. We should also pay attention to Mahiru's lyrics here when the green horse was following 2 red horses. If you think of the green horse as money, you can almost imagine the BF is only staying with Mahiru because of money. The Lyrics allude to it with this imagery @1:31 Notice over here, the moment the green horse disappeared, they look like battered people. Mappi is the only one smiling. The chorus is probably the scariest part of the MV! Mahiru: What you trampled is my, “This is how to be in love with you” Then notice how Mahiru sings this segment, it's the POV of the BF: Boyfriend: This can’t go on, something’s got to give, I even love saying the words, “I love you” My emotions are out of control, that’s inconvenient? I don’t care! Tell me, oh tell me why, are you not here anymore? One thing I noticed immediately, why is there blood on the Boyfriend's clothes that wasn't there in the previous panels? So, for the young people here and don't know what's happening here, there are cases where someone falls in love and completely changes as a person. Their lives started to revolve around you and become obsessive. I think this is what happened to Mahiru. The Boyfriend I feel is asking, what happened to you? Where was the Mahiru I loved? Mahiru doesn't understand what he's saying and instead thought he wanted more out of her. This entire scene can be seen as Mahiru trying to provide love and support to their partner despite their circumstances, but perceiving that their efforts are met with disappointment or an unhealthy dynamic. The dead rat could represent a realization of negative aspects or a loss of trust in the relationship. Because immediately after, we see the carousel only filled with Red Horses, which I mentioned earlier could symbolize Mahiru('s love) taking over. There is also an interesting sequence that happens. Green -> Disappears First Blue -> The BF (eventually his dead body). Bonus Symbolism Post: A tea set + living room commonly symbolizes communication. A tea set often represents hospitality, social interaction, and harmony. It can symbolize a welcoming atmosphere, connection with others, and the sharing of conversations and experiences. A broken tea set typically represents disruption, disharmony, or a sense of loss. It may symbolize a fracture in relationships, communication breakdown, or a disturbance in the peaceful and harmonious atmosphere that the tea set represents.5

Aaaa this is so good, I'd like to mention however that it's kinda unlikely we're ever seeing the boyfriend's actual pov as this music video is litterally taken from mahiru's mind. It's what she thinks the boyfriend meant more likely

I wonder if this is mahiru waking up to her toxic habits, and in turn, revealing her partners toxic habits. At the beginning, shes reminiscing on how he fed her and loved her, but when she does the same for him she begins to realise that she was feeding him poison. The carosel representing the constant cycle of toxic codependency, she learned his habits and they ended up trapped together. The partner realised that mahirus intentions werent malicious, but just a reflection of what he had done to her and committed suicide in guilt/response. I don't think mahiru is entirely guilty here.

Watching it over and over again. Her love was too much for him maybe like he was in a bad place mentally and maybe he did that because her loving him too much made him feel guilty or something like that.

imo this makes sense with the audio drama. taking what she says in the audio drama at face value she didnt see her relationship as unhealthy in any way until es says thats what they think happened, and the dramas take place just before the music videos are extracted. if shes thinking about that and coming to the realisation right at the time that the mv is being extracted, her coming to realise it during the process might lead to the kind of thing were seeing in the mv, with the distorted flashes of more negative behaviour amidst the cheery romantic atmosphere of the first video - she thought she was in the right and is now rexamining it, wondering if es could be right and seeing her previous actions in a different light. the ending may then imply that she has decided es was right and she was behaving in a toxic way

I really like the cage and the carousel as Mahiru's MV symbols so far. The cage is obvious enough, but the carousel being a cycle with ups and downs is a very clever image to show how the relationship worked. It's possible that both Mahiru and her partner felt trapped in a way, terrified of what may happen if they were to end their relationship.
I know everyone is talking about how she fed him dead rats but I wonder why they were in the suicide forest in the first place. I don't think she would drug him and then drag him to the suicide forest of all place for a hike? She said this just before the final chorus, the forest scene, "I would do anything as long as you smiled", hence I think the double suicide theory is plausible. She could probably suffocate both of them with her love, to the point he went depressed and wanted to commit suicide. She tried even harder to love him, to make him smile and convince him not to end his life but instead he wants her to do so together with him. "What you trampled is my 'This is how to be in love with you'", I think this partly showed how angry and frustrated she was instead of being naive and in love as she showed before, probably because she tried so hard in her opinion and he just couldn't accept it. "My emotions are going out of control", "Tell me, why are you not here anymore?", she snapped oh boy she snapped so hard. She thought that he was no longer the one she fell in love with, probably because of something he said in that scene. She went even more delusional and completely lost touch with reality. She fed him rats oh no. The last line "die" I think really shows how she got sick of the perfect love she always dreamt of, as much as it suffocates her lover, it also suffocates her. She hates it, but this is supposed to be her dream, thus the carousel of abuse and delusion continues until one of them breaks. This is just my take, because it doesn't sit with me right when someone said that she is the one who loves too much. I think the lyrics pretty much shows that she is pretty much sick of the perfect love. Maybe that's why she said to Es that they could just do whatever they think is right (I'm not sure if I remember it correctly), maybe it's because she tried so hard to change herself and please her lover. I haven't listened to the drama cd yet though. I hope people will go through his seriously before making the judgement, because I'm seriously scared that she won't make it to the next trial....
