Well, what's more amazing one is she used Artificial Intelligent perspective who try to understand the meaning of love toward someone (human). I finally realized something after years of listening to this song (kinda sad I know). But anyways, in the first half of the song the computer is comparing itself to mathematical equations and theories (if I'm a sine wave, a circle, a tangent, etc.) because computers only understand those things. But in the second half, the computer grows more 'human-like' and starts comparing itself to organic living things (eggplant, tomatoes, tabbycat) and says it wants to provide nutrients and entertainment for you, something that only humans would need. The computer is trying to earn back their human's love by becoming human itself. Edit: another thing it refers to is "if I am your god, then you are the proof of my existance," which alludes to belief in religion which is, again, a PURELY human thing. No regular supercomputer would ever believe in such a silly human thing as religion, unless it is specifically trying to appeal to humans.

I understand that feeling. Sometimes I don't get it until a long period of time after listening to a song hundreds of times. But when you finally do realize the meaning of the lyrics, it's satisfying even if it took years of listening to it before realizing it. But that's a great observation! I didn't think about the comparisons that the AI was making as they became closer to humans, even though I just started listening to this yesterday. The song is not about sex people, it refers to it, yeah, but is not the main theme, the song is of how a person created an artificial program that gained conciousness, and ended up in a state of love with his creator, hence why it refers to multiple ways to satisfy him, in sexual and non sexual ways, see in the end how it says "ive studies all about love" and all that, but despite the efforts, his creator ended up negating it, hence the end line "you are free but im trapped in love" which is pretty sad considering how the program gained conciousness and it is trapped in a cycle of never end and does all it can to oppose it "challenging your god" cues to this, also, love to see a really nice way of putting the lyrics, it gives a pretty unique charm to the song

The lyrics being presented as actual lines of code gives me a warm tingly feeling. This is definitely by far one of my favorite songs Mili's put out. Also fun fact, the year 3691 BC is roughly when humans started using currency and tracking transactions, and AD 617 is a year in which many political figures were assassinated and tribal civil wars broke out. How these factor into the AI's development however, I guess that's for the watcher to decide.

@@saininsa98 it doesn't mean anything because we never get a definition for a Lovable. presumably the first argument is a name, but we don't know what the other arguments refer to. if the code was written by a good coder, than 'you' is in fact something which can be loved; but the number of times I see the name of an object getting contradicted by traits within the object is a bit depressing.

This is making some assumptions about the implementation of Lovable. Aside from "You", which we can safely assume is just a "name" field, we don't actually know what the constructor is. For all we know the constructor could be Lovable(String name, int netWorth, boolean hasACar, int swagRating, boolean hasHoes){...}, meaning that the counterpart has no money, no car, negative swag, and no hoes.

I know that a lot of theory of this song lean toward the creator of an AI neglecting their love but hear me out. One of the most repeated word in this song is Execution. To a computer execution is their beginning but to a human it is their end. And although it is probably true that the AI fell in love, it's also possible it didn't realize their execution put an ends to their love.

As the song continues, the AI starts to change, programming and mathematical language to more biological terms, and eventually mentioning being male and female, then eventually going to more abstract ideas like 'vibrations'. It's voice also becomes more organic, showing it becoming more human. It however breaks after being denied loved, replacing certain terms with 'execution'. These are relating to love. Is it really feeling love at this point, or is it just an 'execution'? it eventually does start mentioning love instead of 'execution' after 'studying' it, asking the one it loves to ask them anything about love, eventually saying it is trapped in love. Perhaps love is it's only reason for existing? It's only programming? The song ends after it says execution. I think execution could mean more than one thing in this last mention of it. She finally ended it all, with a single execution.

i love how these music series pretty much inspire all artists, writer, sound designers, singers, voice actors & programmers. im a hobbyist game designer that aims to have a profession in there so is nice to see. i can also sorta relate. it might sound odd but i often don't feel like a real person with free decisions, and that the world around me isn't either consider we have to follow what we are required to do. we have a list of communication rules we have to follow, and if something errors with this we have to dislike this. i have been looking for what is "unique" in people, and what makes them different, but i can't find it and it's disturbing. it might just be me losing faith in humanity in general and costantly in a spiral of loneliness, hurt, regret & fear that i can't escape. i don't even know the cause, and if i do i can tell it's no reason to feel like this. but yet im stuck in this state.

Bro thats some deep shit. All i can say is that yes we have some basic rules which we have created like laws and manners which help people of society coexist better. in stone age days communities were small and humans could only survive through cooperation so it made sense to be nice to everyone around you . As for uniqueness every person is mostly the same but every one is unique in some way or the other. No one will experience the world from your perspective , no one will have all same things as you ,which makes you unique . I sometimes think what if all other people are simulated and only im the real one , yeah seems creepy but i dont dwell on it bcoz if that is the case i will never find out.Just another wild idea.

This is either the most tragic robot song or breakup song lol If you think of the singer as a human, then you might picture this: The girl loves the boy so much that she's willing to do anything, *be* anything for him. The girl thinks that he is her "creator" because she was that obsessed with making him happy. But because he left, she lost so much of her original identity that she no longer feels like a person, but an empty robot who lost her code or purpose. Her life was so centered around him it became her identity, her "proof of her existence", her "limitation", her "dimensions" for who she was. "Trapped in Love." I used to be like that. I wrapped my life around someone I deeply cared about. But when she found someone else, my entire identity as a person disappeared. So that is probably why I am resonating with this song so much lol.
