What an exciting trio of aircraft these look to be! The thought of two turbines in an 1100 pound airframe is really quite remarkable, what stunning performance that promises! I'm setting up a kickstarter for some equipment (laser cutter/engraver and a resin 3D printer) for my vtol aircraft idea. Although the kickstarter is going to be set up for some war gaming products (dice tower, terrain and some scatter pieces), I'll be using the equipment for R&D on my aircraft design, battery charging system and some alternate propulsion ideas I've cooked up. Cool aircraft & great video. Thanks for sharing. Keep up the good work. I'm am subscribed.

I built and fly an ERacer, high performance, O360, fully retractable gear, of course designed after Rutans longeze. I love thinking outside the box, and innovation, but reinventing the wheel can be daunting at best. There was another Eracer that moved the winglets inboard, it fatally failed the flight test. I say go where no man has gone before..slowly..carefully!!

Easy math. One lb. of thrust for a one pound object = 1 g acceleration. An 1,100 lb. object would need 3,300 lbs. of thrust for 3 g acceleration. (700 lb. of thrust per an 1,100 lb. object - 700/1,100 = .6363 g's). If confused, think of a one lb. object sitting on the floor. It is subject to gravity (1 g acceleration) trying to pull it through the floor, and the floor is exerting a one lb. resisting force (upward), so the object doesn't move.

Talk to VW about diesels, they have 500,000 of them sitting idle in locations all over the US and they are inexpensive.

Very nice. I'm a firm believer in the potential of minimal single or tandem seater planes with either piston or jets. Or even electric but sleak and minimal. My main aversion is the obtuse price of jet engines. We really need a revolution there. Huge potential because a jet is quite simple. What jet engine are they planning to use?

AMT LINKS JET ENGINE.... from the "Netherlands" is what they told me. Thank you so much for watching and SUBSCRIBING! I appreciate you.

@@ExperimentalAircraftChannel hmm, that's a hobby jet manufacturer yet they want 60k euros for one. And it drinks as much fuel as a Pratt and Whitney PW615 which can deliver 6x the thrust. Looking at the PW600 series, it's actually a very small engine. Most is cowling and junk. And it's a turbofan so the jet itself is even smaller. We really need someone to make a clean basic version of such an engine for a fair price. Thinking large volume which will invariably follow if such an engine were offered at a reasonable price. And I'm thinking it could be very profitable at 50k$ which I'm guessing is about 20x cheaper than Pratt wants for one. It's such bullshit that that little hairdryer has to cost a million dollars.

@@ExperimentalAircraftChannel btw the thing he says about 3g acceleration is just factually wrong. Pretty weird miscalculation.

We would have loved to... IF there was anything to follow up with. The "Partnership" fizzled on the design and we have NOT heard any new developments from them just yet other than needing/wanting more investors. Sorry. Was hoping this one was going to work out for... everyone.

It looks like a Canard...for sure. Many subtle difference in appearance on the outside but MANY engineering changes internally etc. Flight will be proof of concept of course. Very much looking forward to going back and providing updates as this progresses along. Thank you so much for watching and SUBSCRIBING! I appreciate you.
