Looks just like the house I lived in when my family and I were stationed there about 9 years ago. Minus the horrendous dark green carpeting tho! Looks like they must have finally upgraded it. We lived on Beluga Ave. I miss beautiful Alaska but who not want to live there again, definitely only visit!

I was born there. We lived at 415-D Beluga from 1962-1968. We left there when I was 6. I was 1 year old during the earthquake.

We were told it’s based on family size but there is specific housing for officers and high enlisted!

You are absolutely fabulous. How often do you do your grocery shopping? Do you ever stock up on anything like soda or water? Can you possibly do more in store grocery shopping videos? I think it would be awesome if you could show your full shopping trip

Thank you! I’m not sure why my comments are off in my Costco video but I grocery shop around every two weeks! We have a water dispenser so we use a 5 gallon water bottles & refill those as needed. We aren’t huge soda drinkers, occasionally if we eat out. I’ll definitely do more of these and do a full on shop with me. 😊

Just pcsd to jber to the moose crossing neighborhood. We didnt really have any big furniture to bring with us and am having trouble finding any companies that ship to alaska and was wondering if you know of any good furniture stores in Anchorage or that ship to jber

Welcome! I hope you’re loving it so far! Ashley’s furniture is actually pretty decent and I have found target to ship super quick. There’s other furniture stores that are local but unfortunately they are very expensive. Costco is also a great option! They have nice, affordable furniture!
