Military, Cargo & Repatriation: 747-200 Geo-Sky, Juneyao, C-130 | Planespotting FRA

Dear friends,
the shutdown is still active - but we got some "special flights" during the last days. Many flights were in the early morning / evening - so we had to put the ISO higher which caused some color noise sometimes... - but I think it was still acceptable quality.
Geo-Sky:
The very rare and old but still flying Geo-Sky 740-200 looks so great - it was my highlight.
UPDATE: The Georgian cargo airline Geo-Sky has been a familiar sight at Frankfurt Airport since 2020. Nevertheless, this image seems out of time, because Geo Sky operates two of the world's last civil Boeing 747-200s: 4L-GEN and 4L-GEO.

Und die beiden C17 die im Hintergrund im Cargo Bereich zu sehen waren ehrlich gesagt auch noch nie...... @@FRAproductions Nichts zu Danken. Eigentlich müsste man dir Danken das du trotz der Corona Krise immer noch schön brav an den Pisten stehst und uns mit Videos versorgst. Also vielen Dank. (So genug geschleimt 😉) Ich habe mir das schon gedacht das es keine "normalen" Flüge sind. Aber ausgerechnet die beiden Hercules, besonders die israelische, in EDDF zu sehen finde ich schon spannend. Die habe ich noch nie irgendwo im Spotting zu Gesicht bekommen. Während hingegen man die C 17 oder auch C 5 Galaxy ja allein schon wegen Rammstein öfters sieht. Wenn ich mich recht erinnere, dann habe ich die MD-11 von Western bislang auch noch nie in freier Wildbahn gesehen.......

Military aircraft don’t tend to show up on radar for obvious reasons, but I know that the RAF ( Royal Air Force ) have their cargo aircraft show up

They take out all the seating so there’s nothing left on the lower deck, leave the upper deck for the crew rest area. If you looked carefully at the first 747-400F, you can see where they’ve installed a large Cargo loading door at the rear of the cabin and that’s where they’ll load the aircraft.
