The Generals dont see what happens in today's wars, they sit in their seats managing their subordinates and coordinating things. Most of the time they play a management game, and of course, (most of the time) they arent on the receiving end of the consequences, the ones who carry out those orders are. To all the brothers I served with who did not come home, to all the brothers who after they got home took their own life...to all the ones who went and did things they didn't want to have to do for a country they love... that now is infected with ungrateful and people who don't deserve to live here. Remember this..... you're still a part of something and forever will be a part of the brotherhood.

About two years ago I woke up to a text saying that a sergeant I deployed with and considered a good friend had taken his life. The pain I felt then i can't put to words. He was a damn fine sergeant and a very good man his loss was felt across the whole company and those who deployed with him were never the same afterwards. Way I understood it he was still reeling from what he went through during his prior deployments and couldn't take it anymore.

Dang this really got me. 😢 My father fought in the army and I was afraid something might happen to him, like when I was in kindergarten he went into Korea for a year deployment. He lived but I was so afraid he might’ve passed.. One of my dad’s friends passed away a few weeks ago because his army truck blew up.. I felt bad for the family because there was a girl my age who just lost her father, and I felt selfish. I’ve lost so much over the years.

Jsd Gaming They’re going to die a slow death. Those SF guys didn’t deserve to go out like that.
@Cryogenius3335 жыл бұрын
@@junli2147 What they "deserved" was irrelevant. It was their job, and it's a dangerous job. We lose tons of special operators and warfighters. I'm sure many of the guys on the other team have said the same thing about their own. "They didnt deserve to die like that".
@junli21475 жыл бұрын
Cryogenius333 I am aware of how much we actually lose and honestly it sucks. But everyone in the Spec Op teams and conventional units know what they signed up for.

@@junli2147 When I was stationed in Germany I used to do volunteer SERE augmentee training for aircrew. One of the other volunteers was retired naval special operations(never told us which one, though we were pretty sure he wasnt a SEAL. I think he might have been a SWCCC) who worked as a contractor on base processing KIA and MIA special Operations personelle files and documentation. He said you always knew which operators were KIA because their faces would be visible on the paperwork, while MIA remained redacted. He said on any given week hed get upwards of a dozen KIA Special operators, mostly SEALS. "We lose a LOT of fuckin SEALS man".

2:45 got me off guard and have me shivers down my spine, I plan on becoming a marine in a year and try to become force recon. I find it hard as I always wanted to join the military and I still do, but it comes down to the challenge of removing your fear of death and not many can do it and they die cold and afraid and that's what scares me
