Great video mate. Totally understand your point if view, I'm the same. I prefer the hammock where I can see around me and more open

If it rains even moderately the groundsheet will collect water and pool under the bivvy, much better just to have the bivvy.
@Outdoorswithniko2 ай бұрын
@@GLEN-ys7qt I’ve slept out in it for 3 nights so far 2 nights it rained the only thing that got wet was a slight bit at the entrance where the rain changed direction there was no pools under and the bivvy bag was dry I think if you can set up on ground with a slight slant it will help the water run or what will be included in my next video already ready to drop scrape out around you’re perimeter of you’re set up a slight drainage all way round this will prevent this I’ve done it before works really well as it drips off you’re tarp into the drainage and works it way out of the drainage exit try it next time you’ll be surprised I’ll be posting the video soon though

@@david-j1k1m it’s a Berghen minimal sleep kit leaves space for maximum good supplies for long journeys on the road also the berghen is a tough bag I’ve seen many ospreys get caught on a branch and rip these are like tanks 👌
