Tromsø, Norway Adventure - The Northern Lights Are Real!

Nice video. Tromsø is the only bigger city in Norway I haven't visited yet. I bought that same Isbjørn (Polar bear in Norwegian) beer you had in 2:43 on my trip to very northeastern parts of Norway last September. I guess you were informed there that Mack is the northernmost brewery in the World? I tasted their products first time when I was on Lofoten islands in 2015.

I highly recommend Tromsø. It was such a beautiful and magical place. That's one place we definitely plan to visit again in the future. And yes, I heard Mack is the northern most brewery. That's one reason we were really excited to try their beer.

@@WheresTex that is on my "todo list". I also want to go to Senja island that is quite near. It's about 1400 km drive from here (Espoo) but that's not a problem. I have an RV :)

Thank you! The airbnb was about 45 minutes east of the airport. Near the ferry Breivikeidet Fergekai. I hope this helps!

Thank you! I've started using the Sony a6400 more often these days. Only cause of the 4K capability. For pictures I use the Canon 5DMarkIV.

It was an amazing airbnb about 45 minutes outside of Tromso. I'm sorry I don't recall the exact name of it, but there are lots of really nice places in the area. If you are willing to drive 30-45 minutes outside of town you can find some nice places.

Tromso is a beautiful place and the best place to see the lights. I would recommend staying in an Airbnb outside of town to get away from the city lights. I stayed in an Airbnb cabin about 45 minutes outside of town. Good luck seeing the lights!

The cabin I rented was on AirBNB, but has since been removed (I assume due to COVID). It was about 45 minutes east of downtown. I don't think you can go wrong as long as you rent an AirBNB outside the city and away from light pollution. The northern lights are pretty easy to see in that area.
