Sweden has provided Ukraine with several CB90 boats. Ten boats were shipped in a package earlier this year, and more boats will be delivered soon. They are outstanding in combat and in the war zone between Russia and Ukraine.

Us navy use the Swedish cb90. In Usa it is built on license and called Riverine command boat. Think the company building them is Safeboats in Washington

Cool craft. I think the Abu Dhabi MAR WP-18 Interceptor, a tactical strike craft, with a speed of 65+ knots and a range over 400nm would be the fastest combat boat/craft.

*"incredible stopping power"* is the advantage of a water jet over a propeller. Far more mechanically reliable as well. US Safeboat builder also uses the same principle for their #mark_v_patrol_boat and #mark_vi_patrol_boat all very competent and made for fighting Wars watercraft😊😊

A very good observation, they have good availability and extremely low frequency of death in the water. It's also funny that the US Navy let them drift into Iran, a Sea Hawk easily tows a CB90. It is perhaps the case that the US and Iran have agreed on the official version is the least embarrassing for both.

Acknowledged, it is ten knots faster. However, hardly designed and constructed to be a warship. It is a rib boat and any form of armor is thus necessarily quite limited. It also has nowhere near the cargo, passenger and armament capacity of the CB90. As it has outboard engines, it also lacks the extreme maneuverability of the CB 90 which uses two ducted water jets (for example, the CB 90 can go from full speed to a stop in two and a half boat lengths). Furthermore, I would find it difficult to imagine that it would function satisfactorily in long-term, year-round use in northern waters with snow, ice and freezing temperatures. In short - comparing it to the CB 90 is very much comparing apples to pears. The CV 90 is a combat ship designed as such, with all-round capabilities. The Olimp M 46 is an all-round boat designed as such, with some fighting capacity. I highly doubt its manufacturer would want to compare it to the CV 90.

@@hrafnatyr9794 some info for you. m46 is tested for navy and can carry 70 men,it is unsinkable, can be armored and armed with either 20mm canon or 12.7mm machine gun,it can carry bigger load than cb90,it has 2 caterpillar engines inside each with 510hp with water jets and not just outboard engines. there are several versions of m46...navy/military,custom inspection/duane,medical boat and fire fighting version. comparing cb 90 to navy version of m46 is in favor of Olimp. it is just a better boat. and navy version cost 1.5 million which is much lower than cb90

And the total load of ship is also larger than of cb90 So you can have navy version ship for half the price of cb90
