Or you can turn your pants cuff up with a double fold. Turn the cut up to the crotch of where your thumb meets your hand (about 2-3" on most people) and then turn the cuff up again a second time. Then you turn that fold under the boot bands.

I bought two skinny door springs from a hardware store for blousing. I connected the ends to form two rings for a permanent loop. I just slip them over my foot before putting on the boots. They never wear out or stretch and the radius gives a great looking blouse.

Dude, the thing about blousing is just that.. it’s supposed to actually look bloused, and not be overly tight like you’re doing here with the pants drop and pulling the cuff sky high. The correct blouse is in fact used to give a lot more knee room when bending, taking a firing position, etc. If too tight, like this, you’ll instantly feel the tightness in your knee whenever kneeling. It turns out that military research often has an actual purpose lol.

Not gonna lie the old I used to do them worked sure but I always had the problem where they got baggy as the day went on this trick of pulling your pants down actually made my pants not look baggy for the first time. (Thanks man For teaching me this method)
@PostRequisite5 жыл бұрын
The tip I got from my RAMP CC was just abit different. didnt have to pull the pants all the way down. before i start strapping the trousers i have my pants just below the hip. then i cuff the pants, blouse strap, pull up pants and tighten belt. Your way seems a bit faster so ill give it a shot.

When I was in the Army 1986-1992, some NCO's folded a crease with the bulk up the side of the calf on BDU's to get the effect. When ironed in they looked really sharp.

During Army Basic Training in the late ‘60s, we bloused our fatigue trousers. When I got AIT, our drill sergeant decided that blousing was not allowed. We tucked our pants into our boots. When I was in OCS, we went back to blousing with our Corcoran jump boots. While on active duty afterward, I continued to wear the jump boots even though I was not airborne. Nobody said anything about their being inappropriate. In fact, I was named General’s Orderly while wearing them.

To be honest, I like the look of blousing that sort of bunches up at the bottom (within reason! like about how you first had them, not too baggy!) To me it looks more stylish somehow. The way you got em all tight like that, it looks like a lanky old man wearing track pants that are two small for him. Lol!

If you don’t have the bungees you can try rubber bands. Not extremely small & tight rubber bands tho. Also if you have the bungee cords you can use that along with the rubber bands to give you a tighter more neat and stable blouse. Some people like it some don’t but anyways, that’s just my advice. Love from the 868 🇹🇹🤟

Do you get paid on top of your pay grade for your job? Basically what I’m trying to say is if you make a dollar for being an e4 do you get another dollar for being a cook for a total of two dollars?
@Philitron1285 жыл бұрын
Short answer is no, long answer is it depends. If a rate (job) is considered "critical" (in high demand ) then a bonus may be issued. This bonus can either be a sign on bonus or a reenlistment bonus. This is not always the case and there can be a mountain of qualifying requirements as well. So to answer your question, yes/kinda.
@cgmason75684 жыл бұрын
Base pay for the same for grade and time in grade is the same, it's the other stuff that adds up sea pay, combat, hazardous duty pay, separation pay, bonuses for re-enlistment
