I totally get this point of view. And I support people driving the cars they want to drive but this video is not intended for players like that. It’s intended for players who are looking to improve and race faster. To some people (not all) winning and or performing better in the race is the fun part.

Don’t take this the wrong way, I am competing in real life in sports, so the competitivness is in me, just playing the game for fun. Just wanted to mention that you should get comfortable with your steering settings first, then your pro settings and cars your using. There is no point in using a car that is good for the course but if can't drive it well, for example in high speed corner sections using the agera is the best choice, however if you can't control the agera you still shouldn't use it. Also gutter sections are almost always when you have hairpins. Hope the vid helps the wider community to become better at the game

Whilst you're still learning/starting out it's probably best to just use what you like using on any part of the track that will be very technical. If you're driving poorly in a meta car you'll be slower than driving well in a non-meta car. The meta cars are for when don't really make mistakes any more. Track knowledge comes first, then you worry about finding more speed.

I started using my least used cars after I hit 12 million in cash. I say if you are trying to stack up money use meta for GR to hit top 3 every time.

RS2, E30 and Stratos are better at guttering actually but the 2.7 isn't the worst at it and its the best at everything else

an underrated car would be the sl63. I have been using it and loving it. got the pro settings from a KZbinr (edit: Kingdom Twelve). in my opinion, it's fast, and handles really well, sad to see it not mentioned.

In my experience in playing Grand Races, here are the non-meta and ex-meta cars that get me in the Top 5 for most of the categories (if there are less than 3 sweats in the lobby): - Street T1: GR86, Focus RS - Street T2: Skyline R34, Evo X Black Knight, NSX, GR Supra LBWK, GT-R Haru - Drift: Hoonigan Evo IX - Racing: 458 GT2, X-Bow GT2, Essenza SCV12 - Hypercar: P1, Huracan Performante, 918 Spyder Silvery - Alpha GP: Alpha IVT R-07 - Rally Raid: Wrangler Evo 2 - Rally: Lancer WRC05, S1 EKS RX Quattro, C3 Racing - Monster: F150 SVT Raptor

I wish reading the "route" before the Grand Race was a little bit easier. 2 white flags and 2 black arrows don't make it particularly obvious on where the hell you actually start, go or end. Perhaps they should include the classes in the sections or something i don't know. I won over 230 Grand Races and I'm still getting confused over this

I agree l. It’s not super obvious. But, you can see each section of the route as it comes in, and that’s the order at the bottom of the screen. You have to be watching cause it’s quick.

I could not imagine anything worse than only using the same car over and over again just because its the best, especially if its not even a car you like. In a game that can get pretty stale fast that sounds horrible. I dont even use the pro tuning on my cars because all good pro tunes attempt to make all the cars handle the same way

Do not get stuck on what he said about unusable cars. It still comes down to skill car choice and route and I have placed first dozens of times with cars not on this list. I just won in the new Roma today and its not on this list. I then won on the Liberty Walk BMW again not on the list. He makes great points but do not get stuck on a list as thats boring and doesnt challenge you. Pre read the map route make the choice you want have fun get better

For rally raid, I wish the Z4 was nerfed, so sick and tired of seeing a basic ass lifted bmw with slightly bigger wheels absolutely dominate anything else. Of course, if you’re skilled and use different off meta alternatives, you can do well, keep up or pass people using the Z4. It shouldn’t be as good as it is, when literal trophy trucks suck so bad compared to it.

Complaining about the Z4 is a skill issue ngl Look at how bad almost every muscle car is, then the racing Camaro is one of the best cars in the game and is better than any of the actual race cars This game has no consistency in what’s good or not, just pick anything that performs slightly well and you can win, half the players in this game are ass and complain about everything because of their own skill and half the cars are borderline unusable yet that hasn’t stopped me from getting podiums while using them

While The Crew 1 and 2 were pure fun on the big USA map, The Motorfest is an empty shell to me, without the pure arcade core, with the broken driving model. I see this much more after playing Season 2 update of Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown - still not perfect, but much more playable racing game. I wish The Motorfest all the best - to become more for ~real drivers.
